- After the video finished rendering I realized I forgot to include the chest which has almost every Expert/Master mode item, all those dev vanity items and the 4 biome chests in dungeons which I unlocked (hallowed key, frozen key, jungle key, corruption key.) but it's whatever I guess..

each getting ~100% on journey mode
and compiling various items throughout playthroughs to get truly 100%
for my latest account ive just been trying to stick to some fun challenges but that completionist drive is still there.

Insanely good looking build. I played the game 100% (yes the fishing quests were pain but kind of cheesed it :D) including all the biome keys and rod of discord in Master mode too but my buildings were not even close to as impressive as yours. Great job.

pylons are 1000% better, you can use them prehard mode and you don't have to place thousands of blocks worth of wire

The same world had 1% corruption too, but I discovered that it was at the end of the map, at the end of the oceans. Try to see if corruption is there

1% happened to me as well in my medium sized world
sometimes corruption/hallow can spawn a few blocks from outside the visible map, so i'd check the edges
if nothing works im pretty sure its fair to just use terramap and use the corruption/hallow set to find the rest

I suggest making more terraria videos. I think a lot of people don't even know how to defeat all of the bosses or even getting all of the achievents. Since you have a lot of knowledge. You could probably make 100's of in depth videos about each boss and how to complete each achievement if you wanted too. It would be a pretty cool concept

@@TryHardCentral I mean i have been thinking of doing basically the same thing- but modded, unsure of what mods though
i got all banners in a world, id say the most difficult were the sea snail, ragged caster, tim, rune wizard, rock golem. banners like the nymph are pretty easy to farm afking. also the event banners (old ones army, frost moon, pumpkin moon) were pretty grindy for a few mobs. if i recall the sea snail and ragged caster took the longest at about 6-7 hours each. aswell as this, an additional world was created to farm salamanders which didn't spawn in mine aswell as some pre-hardmore exclusive mobs i missed out on. pretty fun stuff.

I'm working on getting all the banners, and I'm dreading having to find the rock golem. Tim and the rune wizard might be difficult, but their banners are given every 10th kill, not the usual 50. There's quite a few mobs that have their kill count requirement for their banners decreased (including the nymph, which is every 25th kill).

@@TryHardCentraltowns with at least 2 npcs from each biome *can* get you the biome specific pylon. since all npcs doesn't like being in a town with many npcs, they won't sell the biome pylon. so, having all npcs in a single town is not good if you're planning to set up pylons for fast travels.
if you have teleporters then it doesn't really matter---since you also have money for wires.
types of fast travels are:
1. portals
2. pylons
3. minecart/tracks and hellevators
4. conch/phone

however, i don't know if there's an npc that sells a certain item if their happiness is high. i only know about the pylons.

@@juanjovaldivieso2972 It matters if you're planning to use pylons as your mode of fast travel. Its not like there is one playthrough that is a *must follow* in each of your playthrough. Not all your playthroughs are the same, so, one way or another, whether you like it or not, you will someday make use of that knowledge---using pylons as a mode of fast travel.

for that 1% remaining you could just wait until it spreads a bit to find it and cleanse it (unless the blocks are isolated then youre screwed lol)
it might also be offmap to the left and right ends of the world, since the world actually extends a bit more to the left/right ends than what you can play with

I seriously regret beating this game on master mode and getting all of the achievements. I tried to play Calamity mod, but the hardest difficulty proved wayyyy too challenging.

You could load the world in something like TerraMap and search by block to highlight the 1%. You may think that's a bit cheese though. Epic base

the 1% corruption/crimsion happened to me too. try looking for corrupt or crimson sand blocks that have fallen to the underworld
I did you can see in the part where I show the entirety of the map.. I scanned the entire underworld including the out of bounds areas below, left and right

That happened to me but only with the hallow. I found all corruption but the hallow is nowhere to be found. I’m scared I used the pearl stone block to make a bridge or something and it could be anywhere in my world
This happened to me. The hallow/crimson blocks in your chest and inventory count as well.

For me the hardest achievement was crafting the cellphone, did 300+ fishing quests, but did not receive the final item , had to use the chest dupe glitch. On the other hand my friend joined the same world he did some 50 quests, and he got every item!

The best part about 100%ing a world is when u make new worlds and realize u dont have to save up all the useless items for completion anymore or build extreme houses just trash all items build shoeboxes and mess around with classes, challenges and speedrunning the game in like 5 hours or something its like a cure to the completionist OCD of I gotta collect everything and sort every chest

A tip for the 1% corruption: Its very likely a few blocks outside the world map, so you cant see it, but it is there. Try purifying both edges of your world and you should be good.

ive never really played Terraria asides loading it up and trying it for like 30m-1h, ive always wanted to get into it but never actually fully did and don't know much about how to progress in it, this looks amazing though id assume it prob took over 1000 Hours to get this far though

Me and 2 other friends grinded and got every banner in the game and by far the hardest banner to get is the sea snail banner. Everyone says the nymph banner but we found 6 banners just going around caves grinding for other banners, the sea snail banner took around 8 hours of grinding in a specially made area for them to spawn.
In this world I found only 5 nymphs naturally
I don't think I've ever heard of the sea snail tho

btw the nymph banner isn't 50 nymphs. The devs made rare enemies drop banners after like 10 kills

I travelled through 5,ooo hours of gameplay to say one word, "Nice".
This is not 5000 hours lol about a 100

THE 1% corrupt/hallow is probably that 3 blocks that u use to mark teleports in that rainbow portal hub ;)
