This video aims to bring the soliloquy "To be or not to be" of William Shakespeare, to life. William Shakespeare was an English playwright, poet, and actor who is widely regarded as one of the greatest writers in the English language and one of the most important figures in world literature. He was born in 1564, and died in 1616.
"To be or not to be" is a soliloquy from William Shakespeare's play "Hamlet," in which the protagonist, Prince Hamlet, reflects on the nature of life, death, and existence. The soliloquy is one of the most famous speeches in all of Shakespeare's works and is often studied and quoted.
The poem in this video is narrated by Shane Morris (an award winning voice actor). We took care to edit the audio as perfectly as we can. It took us months of learning before we were able to edit the voice like this.
We believe that there is wisdom in these historic texts. We are very hesitant in creating video's with different moving backgrounds, because we believe it might contradict the wisdom that is displayed in the text. We hope you appreciate the effort!
