Families and neighbors use to be very close. In the 70s through early 2000s. I grew up in the 80s in a family oriented neighborhood and my neighbors were like family. Everyone knew each other. They didn't know each other's business, lol..but they looked out for each other. My family fed neighbors and vice versa. I'm STILL friends with many of my childhood friends and neighbors. We consider each other family. I'm from Boston, MA. Times have changed due to ppl making more money and social media. Social media is a gift and a curse. Ruining society and how ppl lack communication skills in person. It's sad.
