- Here's the first of of three videos for the Ghostbusters Proton Pack. Because of the complexity, I've decided to break up the tutorial. Check out Part 2 here:
• How to Make a Prop Gho...
Very impressive and interesting! I can't wait for part two!
Wouldn't it be easier to glue the boxes together on the whole pack and then spray paint it?
YES IT WOULD I watched this and I was having headaches the whole time. i mean in the end it was alright BUT its so much easier and cheaper to just use hot glue and spray paint
Omfg I have so many boxes at home, I want to cry because I am so happy!!!
materials needed: cardboard, cardboard, and cardboard.
wooooooo GHOSTBUSTERS great work for now
SCOTT I'M NOT SURE IF YOU'LL SEE THIS BUT IF YOU DO I NEED HELP I'VE TRIED TO MAKE RENJIS ZANPAKTU FROM BLEACH THREE TIMES WITH MULTIPLE MATERIALS BUT ITS NOT STABLE. CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON THIS PROP?
P.S. you inspired me to make cosplay props so thank you😁
I have a quick question is it necessary for the templet to be over it
Like is it necessary to put the template over the base cardboard
Great vid can't wait for the next one :)
Hm. I liked what you tried to do, but my only criticism is that trying to form the majority of the structures by cutting numerous layers of cardboard is needlessly time consuming. For my pack I just utilized styrofoam*, and cut out the various shapes that way and then wrapped in tape. :) That way it's a lot less time consuming, it's easier to form the ribbed pattern of the two blocks on the sides, and depending on the type of foam - - a lot sturdier. :) * (actually Insulating foam)
Then again, I think you're going for a more simple DIY feel, using materials that are more readily accessible for a general audience. So nonetheless, Kudos for such a prop on a literal shoestring budget. :)
this is amazing!!! can you share the templates?
ok well i have saved up enough cardboard *sigh* lets do this
*sings* who you gonna call Ghostbusters! dun dun dunn dun dun dn ddddd dun dun
Awesome!
awesome
Not to be nitpicky but im trying to follow the instructions for my own build and the measurements and they arent super accurate in you schematic you show. I can tell you just sketched the template out and the after the fact made the digital example but it would be nice if it were more accurate to help people following along
thanks
Can you make the trap
where can i get the templates for your projects
Good job. Curious. Why don't you use hot glue?
I do, about 3 minutes into Episode 2. However, as a general rule, I don't like hot glue. Hot glue is a strong but very brittle substance. It has its uses, but if I can avoid it, I generally do.
can you make a Spiderman mask
can you make me 4 proweton packs hrat would lane
What time will #2 be out and will this prop include the gun?
I'm hoping to get part 2 out sometime tomorrow. The prop will include the gun, but not until part 3.
The Prop Master's Handbook Where do you get all of your cardboard?
Usually from work. Occasionally a friend will buy some piece of furniture and contact me telling me they have a giant box that I can have.
The Prop Master's Handbook Thanks for telling me :D
