This NA V10 has an addictive sound! Love the new R8.
Its nice to see Audi sticking with NA engine for the R8. The sound is so pure and intoxicatingly addictive
Huracán sound is definetly better. Btw AutoTopNL is the best channel because the driver goes fast, not like Winding Road Magazine or shit like that

Raúl Vargas Not exactly the same. They are both V10, an uncommon engine, they have similar sounds, but the Huracán sound is better for me. It depends also on the exhaust, which is not the same.

I don't know what they're doing with the V10 but the more advanced it gets, the less good it sounds.

Listen to the mk1 R8 V10 as well as the 2007 Gallardo Superleggera (or even the base 5.0 Gallardo actually), they both sound better than this (at least imo).
The Dual Clutch system is part of the problem. This R8 seems unaffected though. Listen to the Huracan and compare it to the Gallardo LP560-570's. The old gallardo's sound much better.
And they havent got in the downsizing yet
***** I understand what he means by that, the DCT makes the whole sound experience more clinical and artificial.
But i'm talking even just revving at a standstill, the note of the engine is just not as rich as it used to be.
