The Easiest Way to Monitor Temperature

Is the current temperature when backpacking important to you? It always seemed to be with me. I could not find a good thermometer to put on my pack that fit well. Since my GPS is always handy I thought why not just figure out a way to have the temperature on it. Sure enough Garmin makes a temp transmitter called the Tempe. It doesn't get in the way, it's easy to install and it puts the current temperature at your fingertips. I love it.
