@@fredgoh You got that right! But being super careful has it's problems too. It intimidates you, keeps you stalling before tackling particularly tough or stressful tasks. . . . and that's why they invented the CNC router! Which I don't own.

Amazing. There are no words to describe the skills, the techniques and the care involved in the whole process, seeing how the guitar was made 100% by hand.
I respect his skills and time for building the guitar with limited tools and materials. Being a guitar player and having seen how high-end guitar manufacturers built the guitar. Some parts of the build surprised me like Darkening the fretboard to look like it was Ebony or rosewood, no Trussrod, The fretwire used, the white dots inlay with korex eraser, zero fret with separate nut, no proper finishing with sandpaper. Well it can be compromised considering the price.
@@mohsin20003 as a Matter of fact! It is important for a guitar to have a truss rod! If not anything atleast a truss rod! Despite of the negative comments from the know it alls this is art and craftsmanship at its highest levels. In today’s music market the less hands that touch an instrument the more expensive it is. This gentleman did everything by himself. A real master craftsman.
He is very skilled and if he had better materials and maybe better tools, he would probably make excellent instruments. These instruments, however, probably won’t last very long. With steel strings and no truss rods, the necks will bend upward within a year and they will be unplayable. It also looks like top, bottom and sides are made of plywood or some other laminated wood. I wonder how much the craftsman gets per guitar compared to how much the final buyer pays. I would bet that they are advertised as “ hand made instruments” (which is correct) and sold for a lot of money. Interesting and educational to watch, however.
Very amazing to watch you build something so beautiful from little of nothing and with so few tools only a master of his craft can do that, thank you for sharing your shop and time with us,all the best to you and yours🎸👏

This video should be renamed to "Horrifying Process of Making A Guitar Shaped Object". The sloppy work, the incorrect measurements, the materials he uses, the techniques. It's fundamentally wrong. I wouldn't ever be so bold as to call that thing a guitar. And calling the man a musical instrument master is an insult to all luthiers in existence. There's a damn reason people learn instrument making for years and not just slap together pieces of wood and metal until it looks similar to a musical instrument.
He's not making a guitar. He's making a living. I know what you mean, but he's also working to his market. If he could use better tools and materials, more time, the local market couldn't afford it. It's easy for afluent societies to be out of touch with the realities of this world. This video is profound. Good on you bloke! Keep building!
That’s harshly phrased, but in truth the ebonized bridge, neck, back and sides are hardly high-end Luther. More important, the lack of care in intonating the instrument means it is apt to play out of tune. That said, there is a place in the world of music for affordable instruments, as the stellar music of Leadbelly, Robert Johnson, Django Reinhardt and many other music geniuses of folk, blues and country music attests.
As soon as I saw the nails I thought oh dear this is not going to be good, the reason he did not tune it is because of the break angle and the action, he would have to put so much pressure on the strings while holding an open chord it would be all out of tune, and instead of cutting the nut to the correct size he cut massive gouges in it in an attempt to lower the action
