I was a performer and a singer for so many years , making a living playing my guitar and always wondered how this musical instrument was made. Wow , it takes so much time and effort...not easy. I wouldn't trust that bridge to stay on long as it was badly glued and not clamped properly. It'll pull up after a few years.
Some people just gotta hate on stuff. Even though they probably haven't built anything in there life. What I see is a man and wife in business for 40 yrs making beautiful instruments.

At the end of the video when the craftsman plays his guitar, am I the only one who hears it sizzling on the keys? Maybe this is exactly the difference between a quality guitar and a "factory" one!! In my opinion, from what I have seen, the alignment of the bridge and neck should be checked and this guitar needs a refret or grinding of the fretboard and frets!! These are those guitars that come out of production and then you have to take them to a luthier to fix them and it's not always certain that they can be fixed if they were built badly!! However, it is always fascinating to watch the workmanship of these instruments, perhaps a little more attention would increase the price but certainly also the prestige and future sales!
Thats exactly what I think ! To watch that "final quality check" really brought me down. If the strings are rattling like that, its either 011 gauge strings that one really should not use, or nut resp. saddle are too low. But in most cases the action is too high - no big deal for the ambitioned homeworker ! All of my acoustic guitars are from the far east, I Love the sound of most, had to rework them and saved a lot of money ! Who needs a "genuine" Martin, Gibson, Taylor anyway ?

I can't believe they don't even bother to wipe the sanding dust off before applying the finish! And as others have noted, gluing the bridge onto a finished top is bad practice.

Звёзд не хватают? Это же Crafter. Они в Корее сами производят, а их сын наладил массовое производство на китайских заводах

In his workshop, wooden boards that have been naturally dried for more than 10 years are always stored. He is a master of guitar soundbox production over 40 years old, recognized by many guitar players. I sincerely hope that his guitar, which is produced by the master's hand at the request of the customer, will remain a luxury item.

Три нарушения уже есть, уже ни за что не купил бы такую мебель, ну как на ней играть? Лады тонкие низкие, время на прижатие и отжатие струны уходит много, а это не попадание в метроном гарантированно, никто нижний бридж не клеит на лак, и гриф не под правильным углом склеян, струны низко положишь, а правой руки постановка съедет, много косяков!

The processes are very good, but the gluing of the bridge, over the lack, left me curious about its efficiency.
Yeah, that caught my eye, too. The single fly in the ointment.
But, I also noticed they put in very nice bridge plates: large and good wood.
That's very important. It helps avoid "belly bulge".
I'm more concerned they're just painting on some mysterious finish substance with zero PPE. You can always make a new guitar; you can't make new lungs.

Wonderful to watch and observe this small operation. It's a hard physical process sometimes and made easier by some wonderful manufacturing jigs and all done without a CNC machine in the room ! True artisans !

Trying to imagine the satisfaction of playing music on an instrument you built
Скажу как мастер, скорее всего это недорогие гитары, потому что покрытие так ненаносится , необходимо наносить тонкими слоями несколько раз иначе будет плохое звучание нада только распылять, шлифовка меня вообще убила так не делается неравномерно стирается шпон на деке, сверление колков просто по шаблону без точного кондуктора это некачествено. Хорошая гитара на коленке в гараже не делается.. Думаю это инструменты качества "али експресс".Которые втюхают нашим болванам и скажут мол-"ручная работа" я бы сказал "ручная халтура". Нивкоем случае не хотел обидеть эту семю, возможно они так зарабатывают себе на хлеб..
Ну, многие мастера классичек используют метод нанесения тампоном (например шеллчный лак только так и наносится). Но в целом да, вы всё правильно написали.

In this day and age of mechanization, it's surprising to see there are still people around building guitars "by hand," not resorting to any CNC machinery to make the critical cuts such as neck shaping.

My father did carpentry as a hobby and I know for a fact he would've been rolling in his grave because they didn't wipe all of the wood dust off of their guitars before putting any oil, varnish, or lacquer on them. The reason why you wipe the dust off is so that you don't see those particles on the guitar or product you purchase and then try to sand and inevitably destroy the product you buy trying to take those dust particles off! Sorry to be so wordy! Plus, the music was way too climactic, they weren't building a bomb...they were building guitars, tone it done a bit.

@@No-cr4oh 크래프터가 비싸? 관련업 좋사자 인데 통기타에서 크래프터는 저가 악기 브랜드야 그리고 왠만한 저렴한 제품군 아니면 저런식으로 브릿지를 접합하지 않아 저런식으로 접합하면 재수없으면 1년도 안되어서 브릿지가 들리기도 하니깐 그리고 마스킹을 먼저하고 상판 도장을 하고 마스킹 테이프를 때는 방식으로 작업을 하기때문에 작업자체가 손이 그렇게 많이가지도 않아 커스텀 고가 운운하는데 40년 장인인것처럼 소개가 된것 부터가 문제인것 아닌가? 40년 저렇게 2인공방으로 작업을 하셨는데 저기서 산 악기는 언제 브릿지가 떨어질지 모르는 악기라는거잖아.

Everything looked great until they glued the bridge on lacquer finish ouch and I saw no point of reference for intonation? I’m just very picky and notice every detail… maybe it’s a fault…No I set up my guitars but I don’t build guitars but I own martins and have closely watched at factory tours. I could go on but… that’s ok 40 years is long time God bless this couple and bless them with many years more of good health and happiness!

Не, ну 40 лет делать одно и тоже... Начинайте делать рояли
Просматривал за чашкой утреннего чая и был удивлен как минимум двум моментам.
1) установка ладов без клея?... я уже такую работу видел, лады через время просто вылазят из накладки, и это факт.
2) намотка струн без на колки без "узелка" - постоянная расстройка инструмента обеспечена при исполнении бендов и вибрато особенно на тонких струнах.
Очень странно, что пара 40 лет изготавливает гитары, а этих базовых вещей не знает. И я даже не гитарный мастер, я пользователь с десятилетним стажем, общавшийся уже ни с одним мастером гитар.
И как писали ниже - выглядит красиво - звучит как Бобров или Борисов. Удивительно, у кого спрос на подобные инструменты ручной работы? Быть может в какой-то глубинке, где нет магазина? Но спрос на гитары в подобном количестве явно говорит не о глубинке. Вобщем вопросов очень много к данной паре.
И автор видео, который бездумно шлепает лайки под каждым комментарием.
