I don’t think we would have to worry about getting people to come to church if we were seeing the kinds of things happening that went on in the early church. Maybe we need to focus more on a close personal relationship with Jesus, and he will do what he does best, work through individual lives in a powerful way. I saw on UA-cam an interview with a guy who recently got healed from being blind, here in Michigan, in the US. Look it up, his name is James Drain. When people hear of what Jesus is doing won’t it automatically grow the kingdom? But in order to get there we have to seek God. That particular church had been fasting and seeking God earnestly prior to this amazing work of God. People are tired of being marketed to, and there are so many “fun things “ out there to choose from, but they will naturally come if we have the real thing.

Genuine question: should unbelievers be the audience of church social media? What place is there for encouraging believers? If your target audience is the congregation, then encouraging them with scripture is spot on!!

How do you stop the anti-Christian trolls who comment nastily? They are often trying to use comment sections to try to counter evangelise.
But then again, disabling comments is ingenuine

There are settings in UA-cam Studio that allow you to either block certain words and therefore block those comments, or allow you to "vet" certain comments, there are many other ways too.
Long story short, it's possible. All the best.

@@biker-with-a-biblein UA-cam this is the case. But in Facebook I believe it's all or nothing - either all comments accepted or no comments accepted. Could be wrong.

I find that most churches in their UA-cams completely disable comments, but as I stated it comes across ingenuine.

I'm not to sure about Facebook, but yeah we keep our comments open, allows some form of community. But I have to remove one or two of them every now and then. Just about keeping an active watchful eye I guess. All the best.

We found generally on Facebook if we 'boost' a post then all the trolls come from around the world and spam it, but if we do targeted ads, eg all the people of type 'X' within 1 hr drive, it tend to stop the crazy people jumping in.
