It still could be. The Druid isn't only a shapeshifter. Spirit born could be an evolution of the Templars/Paladins/Crusaders etc. It's been a long time in Sanctuary since the events of D3.
Crusader/paladin doesn't fit the jungle setting. Will be a witch doctor reskin and 90% of his abilities will be witch doctor abilities from d3. Maybe we get paladin with the second expansion.
For me, a reasonable loot filter could be to check quality and type loot, for example, disable white and blue and disable helm, chest, and boots, so I just want to see yellow and legendaries and only jewelry, gloves and pants. Easy to configure, easy to understand, but keeps the "vanilla" feeling of looting.
Dropping this comment before I watch the vid... The only Diablo 4 change that could bring me back is if they said no more seasons, there is one world (server) with seasonal EVENTS, and that the loot I obtain from these events isn't erased at the end of said event. This is something I would pay for every 3 months. I'm not going to pay for what amounts to my time being wasted on a build that is bricked every 3 months.
Please please buff helltides... More enemies, and let the bosses/higher level enemies drop living steel too.. having the chests as the only source is bonkers Let the elites drop 20 cinders Let Kikaxxis drop either steel or like 100 cinders

the fact that they built Uber Lilith to be able to be killed by a blind person really explains a lot... maybe a few harder challenges along with the easier ones would be good for the endgame content just saying.

Some changes I think would make the game even better : Still no coop mode... Diablo 4 feels like a solo game, they should add a tab like in WoW for people to look for party who want to grind a specific objective. They should also add a codex to store all legendary apects and when you click on that aspect, it gives you all the variation of the aspect you possess (28%/30%/60% damage against vulnarable ennemies). They should allow us to switch build like in WoW. And lastly they should 100% focused on comsetics and let us change it the way we want like one staff comsetic on 2 hands weapon, increased set of cosmetics (maybe bring back old sets from previous diablo game and finally add cosmetic on SPELLS (I'd love to see a red lighning sorcerer). By doing so they'll diversify their overall range of cosmetics and can get other source of revenue because right now skins are too expensive so I hope by doing that they can also decrease the price of skins in game.
Okay, Im not gonna lie, very strong stuff. What I wanted the most was more endgame and aspirational content so you feel that youre building your character towards something. Im actually pretty excited to have this game hold me over until PoE2. What Im baffled by is how theyre not doing pally as first new class. Not only is it an insanely popular class, its also thematically the thing thats not represented among the current classes - a warrior of the light. The fact that in a diablo game youre not able to suit up in heavy armor and smite evil is a BIG miss in my opinion.
New class could be "holy warrior of light". Might just not be paladin. Frankly Crusader in D3 didn't hold up even remotely as well as D2 Paladin though so I get that. Holy caster could be a really interesting class to unleash though. Priest, bishop, etc.
I think they will release it in another expansion, they are building that anticipation up for the actual final release of the Paladin. It’ll be a big deal when it happens.
Not one person on the d4 team should be proud of anything yet, they need to finish the game first. "The endgame is so important" It clearly wasnt important for release or two seasons lol Honestly I like some of the content creators but i may try to block it all from my feed soon.
Dunno if they realized the math on this but making the exp required to reach level 100 with a reduction of -40% actually made it twice as easy to get there. (You get more powerful earlier allowing you to farm mobs much easier than before) I spent all season 0 trying to get to 100 where as it took me about a week to get it in season 2.
@@MNtoCaliA new world tier or 2 would be so awesome. Making everything harder and maybe even new version of already exsisting bosses, with slighly better drop chances + new monster types and bosses only seen in torment 2 or 3.

Blizz definitely is on the right track with S2 but theres still a lot to improve on. My one biggest complaint is cool another pinnacle boss who like Lilith probably wont drop loot.... Make her drop some rare epic loot or give us a reason to run pinnacles...
Indications that the game is going to be improved; talk of expansions a year away -- this is all hype. Keeping us interested in their game. Marketing. I tried Season 2 and it was not noticeably better than Season 1, which was not noticeably better than Season 0/pre-season. The game is not changing very fast, it is mostly changing incrementally and with a lot of announcements. If Path of Exile 2 came out last week, no one would be interested in what they are saying. They have to acknowledge the mistakes/poor quality of the game and make significant enough changes that the 95% of the player base who left will bother to play more than a few hours. I wish they had released on Steam as their only point of sale... then we'd be able to see how the game failed. This Blizzcon cult thing is revolting.
I really like the direction Blizzard is going. Adding harder bosses, malignant rings (imagine the builds) and one thing i miss is a torment 2 and maybe 3, which adds enhanced versions of already know bosses, and even new monsters and bosses. Imagine NM dungeons but elites with 5 - 6 affixes, more random mini bosses like The Butcher. New lvl nm dungeons up til 150, with extreme density densiy and even more buffed elites. Raising Glyph lvl to 30 making its effect area bigger like from 14-15. Oh and a way to save builds + paragon boards. And maybe even 2 sets of weapon loadouts you can switch on the fly. But all in all im looking forward to the new season boss and especially The Expansion. Season 2 is the most fun i had in all of D4. Keep it comming. We need thoes millions of damage to be used just to dent the life of a boss and not one-shotting it.
Looking forward to all this new content. Also hope you get feeling better! Sorry you couldn’t make it to blizzcon but I’m glad you’re up and covering it from home. Best wishes!
The game doesn’t need a lot of good things it needs a lot of great stuff. Dont be fooled by all the good changes they did in season 2 cause those stuff should have been in the game in its actual launch. Only reason they did all of those changes was they were really losing money now is the moment where players have the upper hand dont let them turn the tables on you and be fooled by these minor changes they doing to get you to spend more money and get bamboozled in the end.
Tell me you were born yesterday without telling me you were born yesterday, lol. just give them 5 more years, then you may finally get what you had wanted at the launch, oh and it's good to know for ya that, even if the game had released lets say 5 years later, they would still had required another 5 years, because of the artificial faucet symbolizing content.
We will see possible affixes before rolling. Just like D3 already had, and for some reason D4 didn't have to begin with. I guess they just need "free" easy content to add to the game, so people feel like they keep getting something.
Very exciting announcements. People complaining must be unhappy with life in general like wtf? This has been a fun season and everything to come will be fun.
Not sure whether to be impressed that a blind person beat d4s hardest boss or whether to be ashamed of blizzard that a blind person can beat Diablo 4s hardest boss.
So would you rather have game studios make games with no accessibility that makes it impossible to play if you are deaf/blind, etc? That should be a good thing, and I think that’s more of a compliment on the person rather than the game being flawed? I get being upset at Blizzard but weird insults like this are just reaching, shit is so stupid to be complaining about lmao. I can understand why game developers don’t like conversing with their audience when they say weird backhanded shit like this.
The guy is playing the exact same game we are playing only he has to sit there and listen to the game read off everything to him. You should be impressed that a blind person has accomplished something many have never attempted. You should be impressed that Tyler is so dedicated to the game that he sat through all those Affixes being screen read to him, and you should be impressed that the Diablo 4 team has made their game so accessible that this is even possible. The man did this all solo self found btw. He actually asked a friend for help at one point, but his friends reminded him that he wanted to beat D4 without any help.
They are moving in the right direction, but lets not forget that if they move on like this with a couple more seasons and the first expansion the game will MAYBE have the content it should have had from day one....
Dude that sounds like fun actually holy schmokes! I liked the beginning of season 2 very much and played a bit until like level 70 or so but this might actually make me wanna play again and get to 100
The annual expansion being more than $40 will be contentious considering the double dipping that is already occurring with battle passes, and even then it’s still bad. If there wasn’t battle passes, $40 for an annual expansion seems reasonable to me
Started the season like a week ago and I fell asleep like 15 minutes in.... then I tried again this Wednesday I went for a dungeon and I fell asleep immediately. At this rate I'm just going to use D4 as a sleeping aid.
Damn DM, I guess the ear doc said no planes huh? I missed the last couple streams but based on you having to do video/live reaction rather than being in the crowd it is pretty clear. That blows man. I know you were looking forward to going.
Nice to see, but I still want them to make input commands cancel animations from other commands. Nothing breaks game flow like a locked in animation preventing you from attacking further. Especially when the enemy recovers faster than you do. (We all see you trying to hide Steel Grasp)
Let's ask devs to add the end screen on completion of the nightmare dungeons with some stats. Like max damadge hit done, max crit total damage etc. Would be fun to see team stats when playing with friends.
I would still love to see the targeting dummy record the atk power. It's so darn hard to get a "good" idea of where you're at. BUT, it's a great start, something I've wanted since DI
I love how they call them (fixes) Additions..... stash search - addition, working resists - additions... Just.. no words.. Also what challanges in season 2 he was talking about? My main challange was to play for 3 days and not to get bored.
Feeling like I needed to regrind for all my renown was the primary reason I only lasted a couple weeks into season one. Makes me think that after I finish Spider-Man I might have to give it another go.
so not worried about a leader board , would like to see the ability to save skill / paragon point loadout , to be able to trade dropped loot with those you were in a party with before the item becomes account bound
Never underestimate a Blizzard fans ability to ignore all the negative press surrounding their work environment, their priority of monetization over everything else, and lack of understanding of their player base needs. Blizzard hates their fans and they still buy their games
love to see that they finally include some of the content we told them to add since the start of beta !!! maybe game will be repayable for a couple year ! good news
I'm new to Diablo, so I'm starting with 4 but what happens to my campaign progress once I finish the season? Does that carry over or do I have to start it again
I don’t care what they announce. The aspect system sucks. I’m personally not playing or buying anything as long as class specific drops exist that is the entire gearing system.
Very promising stuff so far. But am I the only one who expected NEW mid-Season 2 content to drop? The news post about D4 at Blizzcon already hinted at it. Most people didn't read it or missed what they meant (prolly thought it was a typo and they meant "Season 3").
I loved that I just heard FIRST EXPANSION! That’s going to be awesome. The latest skins are also amazing, I just wish they didn’t cost 34$ Canadian, it sucks.
So all of the OGs called it, dont play this game for 2 years and it will be fun. See you guys in 2025 when its out of beta! incrementally increasing the quality of the same experience over and over again isn't going to move the needle for people that are sane.
The loot in D4 will NEVER be interesting until they commit to making tons of legendaries all with their own artwork (which means remaking how the entire game works) instead of this lazy ass, same artwork for each legendary slot, "craft" your legendary items, "itemization". Its just not interesting or fun to craft uniques/legendaries from rares and then waiting for the perfect stats to drop on a rare lol just to upgrade it again with the same legendary power, its just not addicting or fun unless you are a masochist. Where are the rune-words? Where are the sets? Why was this game released with LESS content and systems than you had, that people LOVED, in past games? This game just screamed rushed as hell and monetized immediately just like a damn mobile game.

Yeah was easy to get burned bmout in preseason season 2 is a lot Quicker . I'm soloing tier 25s on my 74 sorc and getting a out half a lvl . Also my non min maxed rouge is sitting at around 20k atk power its fun they are deffinantly going in the right direction
I'm just sad that the new class won't be a Pally 😔 This game is sorely missing a heavily armored shield bearing class
Man, I was hoping for a knight-type class. Templar/Paladin/Crusader etc
It still could be. The Druid isn't only a shapeshifter. Spirit born could be an evolution of the Templars/Paladins/Crusaders etc. It's been a long time in Sanctuary since the events of D3.
@regigrenski8434I love crusader if only it wasn’t the worst class in the game by far until this very day
Crusader/paladin doesn't fit the jungle setting. Will be a witch doctor reskin and 90% of his abilities will be witch doctor abilities from d3. Maybe we get paladin with the second expansion.
Consider that every weapon can be used by 2+ classes, EXCEPT for totems. New class is going to use them I bet.
@@pabloschmidt7327 stop being pessimistic. WD is dope anyways. I hope it's a WD reskin just to annoy you.
Less and more meaningful loot. No soulbinding gear
One of things/events I missed from WOW was the seasonal events. Love the Thanksgiving and Xmas
I didn't realize how useful the stash search would be until we got it... Priceless. Now we just need like double the stash space.
We all live Diablo II -
We love what David Brevik created-

Dropping this comment before I watch the vid...
The only Diablo 4 change that could bring me back is if they said no more seasons, there is one world (server) with seasonal EVENTS, and that the loot I obtain from these events isn't erased at the end of said event. This is something I would pay for every 3 months. I'm not going to pay for what amounts to my time being wasted on a build that is bricked every 3 months.
Please please buff helltides... More enemies, and let the bosses/higher level enemies drop living steel too.. having the chests as the only source is bonkers
Let the elites drop 20 cinders
Let Kikaxxis drop either steel or like 100 cinders
They've done it apparently, they've set the bar so low that most of the comments think this will "fix the game".
Listening to these people is soul sucking. Doesnt matter what news theyre bringing, they sound like charisma voids reading scripts. Id wager they dont like videogames, RPGs, or fantasy; theyre just good corporate climbers.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$
It's maddening. These salesmen couldn't speak their lines in a more rehearsed, insincere manner if they tried. I couldn't listen to the stream for more than five minutes, what with all the obviously bullshit talk of friendship and care for their customers.
Mhmm, chick was like "yeah I got 2 lvl 100s already" guarantee if someone yelled out "oh yeah? What class/spec?" She would've froze up and got all malfunctioning robot on stage not knowing.
None of these halfwits play the games
Less than 10% of them play video games (in general)
They play boobie games on thier phones in the shitter.... and rank gaming on that
.... Cept D4 has less bobbies....
its sad.
the fact that they built Uber Lilith to be able to be killed by a blind person really explains a lot... maybe a few harder challenges along with the easier ones would be good for the endgame content just saying.

Looking forward to getting to fight Diablo in this Diablo game when the third expansion is released late 2027!
I hate the holy warrior, probably for real life religious reasons. Give me witch doctor, monk, alien, thor, Donald trump ne day.
"The endgame is so important" It clearly wasnt important for release or two seasons lol
Honestly I like some of the content creators but i may try to block it all from my feed soon.
Dunno if they realized the math on this but making the exp required to reach level 100 with a reduction of -40% actually made it twice as easy to get there. (You get more powerful earlier allowing you to farm mobs much easier than before)
I spent all season 0 trying to get to 100 where as it took me about a week to get it in season 2.
I'm not even sure what the point of 100 is. I got to 100 and then was like "meh...now I'm bored".
@@MNtoCaliA new world tier or 2 would be so awesome. Making everything harder and maybe even new version of already exsisting bosses, with slighly better drop chances + new monster types and bosses only seen in torment 2 or 3.
I'm still kind of shocked they didn't go with a paladin type class for the expansion. I'm guessing they'll wait for the "church of Inarius" expansion they will likely release, who knows.... overall decent announcement...
My buddy is mostly blind and has been happy being able to play this game. I play this game to play with him. Hope this game keeps getting better. Cheers guys. Wtb rune words k thanks

no blind person or blind person friend would bother typing this tripe.
Blizz definitely is on the right track with S2 but theres still a lot to improve on. My one biggest complaint is cool another pinnacle boss who like Lilith probably wont drop loot.... Make her drop some rare epic loot or give us a reason to run pinnacles...
Have not been playing d4 for a while, but I think I might have to jump back in now! This all great news!
bot
@@zarthemad8386 I assure you I'm not lol also why do you care either way? Must not have anything better to do.
Good announcements for sure! Big win for now at least
bots
Lets face it Wolcen and or Torchlight 1/2 are better as a whole.
I know it's hard to give up your seat in the "I hate blizzard" club

Hell yeah !!! Paid story content updates !!!!
The only arpg to charge you for updates !!
LETS GOOOOOOO
What? The seasons are free and have tons of updates.
Tell me you were born yesterday without telling me you were born yesterday, lol. Diablo expansions have always been paid expansions, and they are not only story updates, they always had a lot more and this will be no different. Clown comment.
Go back to PoE where other people sponsor your updates, so you can have them for free 😂
Oh yeah bring us free expension like Lord of Destruction in the good ol days !! Oh wait..
@@yanthetrooper67 yes the good ole days ! The days back then where there was an in game store and battle pass !!

Imagine that ! blizzard uses free to play monetization AND charge you for the game and story updates !! Heck yeah man
Gotta support the live development games with 4 different forms of monetization !! Pay to own , pay to battlepass , pay to in game store , pay for story updates !!
Make sure to use lube before blizzard bends you over 😂😂😂
@@dsvp4825 But no one gives a shit about MTX and battle passes as they're not related to gameplay in any way, yet you're here whining like an idiot that there will be a PAID expansion to a DIABLO game. You could easily use the same argument and reasoning for LoD and RoS : they just cut the content from the base game and released it as a paid expansion 😂 Instead of calling people blizz shills, how about trying to use logic instead, monkey 😂
PoE free expansions also don't come from nothing, they're coming from whales that buy bullshit MTX and stash tabs from the store so other people who shout on forums that "PoE is free" can have them for free 😂😂
Better than expected, if only slightly for me. But I'm saying that as I'm playing D4 and getting close to level 100 so, this game is definitely only getting better in my opinion.
Another step forward. W for D4.

And most important thing? Lags and often disconnecting after teleporting? Will you fix it, Blizzard?
It's wild hearing them saying how well everything has went since launch and how awesome the community is. It sounds so delusional BUT I think they are on the right track and they will make D4 a better and better game.
.... they are paid to be delusional
200k/y helps
just give them 5 more years, then you may finally get what you had wanted at the launch, oh and it's good to know for ya that, even if the game had released lets say 5 years later, they would still had required another 5 years, because of the artificial faucet symbolizing content.
We will see possible affixes before rolling. Just like D3 already had, and for some reason D4 didn't have to begin with. I guess they just need "free" easy content to add to the game, so people feel like they keep getting something.

Not sure whether to be impressed that a blind person beat d4s hardest boss or whether to be ashamed of blizzard that a blind person can beat Diablo 4s hardest boss.
Brother what
@TheDravic, that's your comeback? That's it? I mean it's one thing to be a casual at games, but also when you try to make a comeback? Yikes.......
Do you feel the same when POE Uber bosses die in one hit?
The guy is playing the exact same game we are playing only he has to sit there and listen to the game read off everything to him. You should be impressed that a blind person has accomplished something many have never attempted. You should be impressed that Tyler is so dedicated to the game that he sat through all those Affixes being screen read to him, and you should be impressed that the Diablo 4 team has made their game so accessible that this is even possible. The man did this all solo self found btw. He actually asked a friend for help at one point, but his friends reminded him that he wanted to beat D4 without any help.
The kind of stage announcements I want but I can't help feeling they could have at least acknowledged that mistakes were made...
They are moving in the right direction, but lets not forget that if they move on like this with a couple more seasons and the first expansion the game will MAYBE have the content it should have had from day one....
Dude that sounds like fun actually holy schmokes! I liked the beginning of season 2 very much and played a bit until like level 70 or so but this might actually make me wanna play again and get to 100
.... HOLY SMOKES BOTTERRY ... It makes me want to crap my pants
BOTTERs.... be less of a tool than this.

Blind gamer beat Lilith, super impressive.. and depressing at the same time since I still get killed in second phase everytime.😅
I will be genuinely excited once I no longer feel like I’m getting shortchanged.
Nice to see, but I still want them to make input commands cancel animations from other commands. Nothing breaks game flow like a locked in animation preventing you from attacking further. Especially when the enemy recovers faster than you do. (We all see you trying to hide Steel Grasp)
DM your mic was blowing my ears!!! thanks for the coverage as always though mannn :)
They really need to fix the respawn location in dungeons!!
i appreciate how they also secretly said higher upgrades on the gems. one of the pictures has new gems in it
Let's ask devs to add the end screen on completion of the nightmare dungeons with some stats. Like max damadge hit done, max crit total damage etc. Would be fun to see team stats when playing with friends.
I would still love to see the targeting dummy record the atk power. It's so darn hard to get a "good" idea of where you're at. BUT, it's a great start, something I've wanted since DI

Just..
I wonder if we'll be able to use aspects on the malignant rings?

Blizzard is full of empty promises. I can't get hyped until I see it with my own eyes. No pre-order mindset lol

Better give them more money for that expansion, cause D4 was so good right? Right?

I don’t care what they announce. The aspect system sucks. I’m personally not playing or buying anything as long as class specific drops exist that is the entire gearing system.
Very promising stuff so far. But am I the only one who expected NEW mid-Season 2 content to drop? The news post about D4 at Blizzcon already hinted at it. Most people didn't read it or missed what they meant (prolly thought it was a typo and they meant "Season 3").
Mid season doesnt exist... other than nerfs
I loved that I just heard FIRST EXPANSION! That’s going to be awesome.

They made a lot of good improvements with season of blood, it looks like they are going to build on that momentum
That fucking expansion better be free after all the shit we have been and will be going through
Torajan Jungles and Kurast with Diablo 4 graphics is gonna be lit af
I feel like all of the things that they announced and fixed are things that I heard you say would be good quality of life changes months ago. 🎉
That jungle looked just like the kurast jungle from act 3 of D2 wit the temple of kurast showing .
If they add a 'Save/Reload' way for builds, would be awsome.
