shouldve announced diablo4 development news and at the end say 'play this while your waiting' and show the trailer
You can feel the worry of the audience as soon as he says "mobile devices". The worry was not misplaced. It's exactly what we thought it would be.
Tyrael: If humanity is to survive they must break out that wallets, though that may not be enough.
Diablo Immortal: Welcome to Hell
He knew he fucked up. He was nervous like a chipmunk at the end lmao
The funniest thing is diablo 2 ressurected and diablo 3 are on the switch, yet their main selling point for immortal is gaming on the go... Who would take immortal on phone over D2/3 on switch?
0:45 "our mobile devices keep us closer than ever"
i think the whole crowd knew what was coming
LOL.. MONEY.. easy money..That what this is all about. micro transactions for the win.. sad.
The sad thing is that not even the part about the "fully-fledged, genuine Diablo experience" were true, because Immortal is even more simplified in terms of skills than Diablo 3 was, and that was already insultingly watered down compared to D2.
The room was silent until the questions started. The rest of Changs hair fell out after.
Love how they added a clapping track no one was clapping at all
I feel bad for that guy honestly. It's also embarrassing from Blizzard, when you're a game developer you always want to have faith in the player base, always. You want to make sure you'll win the audience and keep them excited and hyped. Hearing them yelling "boo" and staying awful quiet is already a bad sign that the audience is disappointed. I'm looking at you Naughty Dog and other game companies😑
It is very sad Angry what this company is doing with all its franchises not only with Diablo 3... thanks for share.
Him saying he loves "Diablo" feel like a bit more literal than what we think
8:58 This man went backstage and someone showed him the comments on the live feed. He looks like he’s about to cry. Poor guy!
Those poor fans playing the game near the end😂 they all look like they just had their souls ripped out
Guy was going for the world record of BlizzCon mentions in one speech.
this clip didnt age well lol
9:47 The laugh in the background in the complete utter silence of the rest of the room really shows how ridiculous all of this was.
"our mobile devices" ... people leaving :D
"Putting gameplay first"
Game releases and its heavily pay to win, and if you don't login daily, you lose your items you paid for
Is that for real? You need to login daily?
That last part holy crap is that real?
Clearly you don’t know the difference between gameplay and something being “pay to win”
The gameplay is fine, chasing end game gear isn’t
@@thetf8142 The point is that you don't progress by gameplay. You can pretty much ONLY progress in endgame if you pay money
@@questionblock8949 Pretty much. The Boon of Plenty is pitched as a 30 day reward pass, with one each day, culminating in two legendary crests on day 30. The catch is though, if you miss logging even one day, you won't get the legendary crests, since you'll only be logging a maximum of 29 days. That means you'll need another Boon of Plenty to log the missing day/s to get those crests you paid for.
You can tell that as soon as phones were brought up people in the audience were like, "Aw fuck this, man."
This was literally that 45 year old company manager trying to act cool and with the kids. So cingeworthy.
This Blizzcon has been sponsored by RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS!
My god how this has aged. I used to feel bad for them being on stage and having to try to sell this pitch.
Now seeing the current company and Diablo Immoral I have 0 sympathy for these ActiBlizz corpo bootlickers. They can dry their tears on the hundreds of thousands of dollars they're practically extorting from their most loyal and addicted fans.
I don't even play blizzard games I just remember watching this live on twitch and happened to be one of the most legendaryly bad times ever for the company lol
I don't even play Diablo and I know about this. This will be remembered as one of the sorriest flops in history
"So I hear you all like Diablo. Well here is Diablo..... but on you phones!"
*crickets*
"Well here is a video with game play."
*absolute silence*
"Well good luck and God bless you and America and world peace."
:BOOO!:
Blizzard: don’t you guys have a payment plan?
6:40 as soon as he said Mobile, everything was thrown out the window
Now that the game has been released and we now know just how bad it is.... in hindsight... that audience was too kind to them.
Blizzcon! We love Diablo! We love the way Diablo has brought millions of dollars around the world for us to spend!
This guy’s hair is halographic
Have a Epic Fail. First diablo i never will play!
