Am I the only one who paused on the Luna episodes to read what the remainder of the sentence was before the bronies started screaming? You do it too, the rest of it is hilarious.
this should make me laugh so hard but Ive started to cry after hearing "fluttershy gets a kinky boyfriend" and every "ish da babu!" makes me happy. luv.
I recently had to cut ties with a old friend because they recently started being extremely transphobic and I don't want my brother to have to deal with that. " Griffon the brush-off" defiantly helped me feel better about cutting ties with them.
When this popped up in my notifications, I had to do a double take. "Wait. My favorite content creator... using the 10 words or less format?" Bless you, Ms. Lily. Bless you.
Finally! Someone else who's okay with just watching Flurry Heart be adorable, without hating on her just because her existence broke a few head-cannons. Seriously, are people still making a big deal about her having wings?
as long as she's not just a crying mess like they often portray babies in media... i am really fine with it (and yes, a flurry of emotions was ADORABLE)
The only thing I liked about "forgotten friendship" was Sunset and Trixie. They were the only two interesting characters during the whole thing. The main 6 were bland, and Wallflower was the same redemption path taken for what the 4th, 5th Time now?
Legit the only reason why I cared about it was that I wanted more Sunset, and Trixie ended up being interesting too, as a "surprise non-villain". Wallflower as a villain was just too predictable, and the main 6 imo was just like "you've already seen these characters before, didn't ya?"
Actually in a sane world RD would've confronted her parents years ago instead of bottling it all up and thinking it was logical to believe she could go the rest of he life without them figuring out she was a Wonderbolt and repeating their boisterous praises of her. Not to mention "abuse" is really a strong word for their parenting, it's shortsighted and embarrassing sure, but hardly that damaging.
I was so confused when I saw this in my notifications. My thoughts immediately went to jello but then it was Lilly making it. Honestly I’m not complaining though since I love both creators
THANK YOU. I thought I was one of the only ones who hated the one about RD's parents. The whole episode is uncomfortable - the first half is designed to do it so that a viewer feels sympathy for RD, setting up what I hoped was supposed to be a hard lesson to the parents that, no, their behavior is NOT okay. Instead, RD got treated like the bad guy. What's this telling kids? That it's okay to be infantilized by your parents even if you feel embarrassed and even humiliated to the point where your relationship with them begins to suffer? Wrong. Thanks for putting that episode on blast - it really needs to be said more.
I'm pretty sure Sweetie Bell was made to be Raritys sister rather than daughter so that they could keep presenting her as well as all the Mane 6 as young and inexperienced in a lot of ways and open to relationships so that they could do little crushes here and there when they started, and when they continued and gave them a greater role in each others lives beyond "when their parents need a break the big sister is designated babysitter" it was too late. Raritys personality would make a REALLY interesting mother character but a helluva lot would have to be restructured from what we have now to accommodate for the concept of her raising a kid, supporting not just herself, whatever happened with the father if he's not in the picture anymore etc, plus she wouldn't be able to go gallivanting off on adventures on a whim. Damn, now I kind of want a sequel or reboot or something of the show where they're older adults from the start and the show starts after some big things have already happened e. G some of them are parents and deal with it throughout the series That honestly sounds so damn interesting considering the range of personalities, but it also makes total sense why they didn't go that route, it's not very appealing for kids
Griffin the Brush Off would've saved me so many years of anguish, honestly, if I'd ever seen that message at a formulative time. I always figured I just had to tolerate endlessly the toxic sorts around me. Seriously. Fucking. Decades. And it would've helped me figure out why certain friends abandoned me when I was being a shitty person. Two way street!
Slice of Life was not lazy. It was a thank you to the fandom, full of hilarious references, fan service and the rare interaction between background characters. Even if you weren't part of the fandom, it can't be on the list for worst...🤔
I liked Slice of Life. The show included Button Mash after all the Cease and Desist stuff that happened with Jan, which they could've easily not decided to do. It was with a redesign, but it was still nice to see that he wasn't removed entirely. It was also neat that all the background ponies got one episode to better present themselves. I don't have a strong affinity for the background ponies like others do, but it was a fun romp.
Aww, I actually enjoyed Hearth Warming Eve. If nothing else there's a brilliant joke there. "Us?! You two are the one's hogging all the food- Oh wait. You're right. It's us! :D"
ok ngl magical mystery cure actually made me cry, esp. when celestia was going through twilight's memories with her also im late but FUCKING WATCH TO WHERE AND BACK AGAIN its great
Not gonna lie, I couldn't disagree more with like... half of these. But it was an amusing video anyways. Subscribed *thumbs up* Dude over here rating the best season opener of the series a 0/10 what even-
05:02 "Equestria is visited by Americans" with an 8/10 is unexpected. I personally found the episode pretty problematic because it's obvious they're trying to represent Pakistan, but they're represented as destructive, illiterate brutes who start wars with us when they're too unhappy. Terrible really, not to mention the fact that Pinkie Pie actually attempted to get involved* in their culture to understand them better, but the episode was like "nope" and forced her whole trip to go south until she was left with 1 solution: Remember that our culture is great too, so the Yaks need to be less picky and realize we have our own great things to share (which isn't bad in hindsight, but the way they weren't subtle about these Yaks being Pakistan and proceeded to make them out to be horrible, senseless people is.... Eek.)
Despite my disagreeing with many of your views, this was still an entertaining video. It’s interesting to see the opinions of someone with such a dissimilar mindset to myself and many other reviews delivered in an entertaining way. I tip my hat to you, madam.
Is this some kind of parody. Because how can you give the perfect pear -2. Thats ridiculous. It’s one of the best written and most favoured episodes in the the entire show.
I think that Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep should have been a two parter because then they could have dealt with Princess Luna's guilt better instead of it being so rushed. Also, Princess Celestia should have been there to help her sister.
I wish Discord was my kinky boyfriend. This was a fun video, I'm interested in checking out the better-rated episodes and the Discord episodes. He's my favorite, ok?
Personally, I'd have given 'Keep Calm and Flutter On' at least an 8/10 because of of how well I think the showrunners handled Discords reform compared to certain others *Cough* Starlight Great video by the way and the thing you did with the bronies reactions to Luna and evil Celestia was hilarious
Newbie Dash is as family friendly as being the new guy in a military unit could be. a little bit of hazing, though shouldn't be exposed to children, is still a pretty big part of becoming part of a unit. (i spent 5 years as a U.S. Marine i kinda know)
"So because I hate myself and secretly yearn for death," It's not often when one statement in one video from a channel that I haven't seen before gets an instant sub you know.
Luna is not depressed!!! She feels guilty because of the thinks she did in the past. That has nothing to do with depression. She need to lern to forgive herself and that is for me a strong message. Sometimes we mess things up and then we need to forgive ourselfs for these things. Only then we can move on. Depression was never a topic!!
@@wannabecartoonist7389 i know right. I have no idea why i wrote that two years ago. I was very naiv at that time. Naiv and dumb with no kwnolage about depression but that has changed now.

I love it
Your Lady Star I did it. It was kinda hard to do it before the ATLA clip came up (i suck at pausing)
As a brony, I secretly enjoy dissing Luna lovers. It delights me so.
My “friend” was a VERY toxic influence, so I cut him out. Griffin the Brush Off is a VERY IMPORTANT LESSON.
Yes
Hickory Daisy 500th like :))
Manek Iridius that is the big sign that you were not the toxic influence.
@@LilianOrchard 8:22 You praise this episode for a lesson, but you yourself did not learn this lesson!
Wood Mane How- How didn’t she?
Brotherhooves social: how to actually use secondary characters.
I have a bad habit of forgiving people who are horrible to me and gryffin the brush off helped me feel better about cutting them out.

Rarity Investigates was most definitely one of the most stupid episodes out there, and that's why we love it so much

we had sunset needing to face celestia
When the main 6 don't have a strong appearance and also don't have any ties to the character we follow along with, they tend to be bland

Maybe RD just handled the situation differently from what's usually expected. Maybe it was pride?

This reminded me of “Cars 2”. When McQueen gets shamed by the script for snapping and how he treated Mater, except he’s actually in the right.
This video teaches me that every time someone time says Luna, a Brony dies.
