- In this video, I check out the Quad Lock Mag Case for the iPhone 15 Pro. You can buy this MagSafe compatible case on Sale with 30% off Everything for $27.99 on their store 👉🏻 bit.ly/quadloc... or from Amazon US 👉🏻 amzn.to/45ZZE1s, Amazon UK 👉🏻 amzn.to/46UlV1V, and from Amazon DE 👉🏻 amzn.to/40rUIRF.
The Mag Case from Quad Lock is a great case for the iPhone 15 Pro (or any phone requiring great protection and mounting options). This year's model is slightly more grey in colour, than the 13 Pro version I checked out in March 2023.
On the back, there is the usual Quad Lock mounting solution on the back, which is recessed into the case back and is compatible with all Quad Lock mounting options, from desk mounts to tripod, bike and car mounts.
Around the mount is a swappable MagSafe-compatible ring. This comes also in black, but there are six other colours you can choose from, should you wish to tailor a specific colour to your tastes.
Buttons around the case feel great and are very tactile, the Action button for the iPhone 15 Pro also works well, sadly there's no signature design or difference to the other buttons on the case.
All buttons are shiny black, which makes it look a little less premium for me, and this is carried through to the speaker grill surrounds, which come oddly wider than what the iPhone needs and have extra holes on the sides - for some unknown reason.
A large enough cable cut-out rounds off the bottom features, whilst on the back, a more sedate camera bump has a slightly raised edge to the outer side of the case, thanks to the case's thickness, the bump is much less pronounced than on other cases, and that's a good thing.
If you're outdoors or want a great case with some amazing mounting solutions, the Quad Lock Mag Case for iPhone 15 ticks all the boxes. It looks smart, the bulky isn't as much as you think, it protects all corners of your precious iPhone 15 and the MagSafe ring adds a small token of customisation, whilst having great strength for non-Quad Lock magnetic mounts.

Aren’t the extra holes at the bottom for attaching lanyards?
I thought that and did mention it but there isn’t much room to loop through it. Maybe it’s possible with think loops
This case doesn't really play nice with screen protector. It actually shows in your video that the case is pushing the screen protector on the bottom left. I have the same problem too with my case. Too bad.
Yes I didn’t notice this until after recording. Granted my protector is from another brand so it runs too big for the lip of this case, so it’s adding force where it’s likely touching it. Shame. I’ve gone back to the Benks Lucid Armor as it obvs works with their screen protector that’s still on the phone.
Same here, I already lost a screen protector to dust. If it happens again with the new protector I ordered I might ditch the case until I stop using a screen protector on my iPhone
update, Spigen EZFit screen protector work well with the case.
Question. Does this case lay flat on the table with the phone inside or does it wobble
It lays flat and doesn’t wobble like on some cases where the bumper stickers out further. The quad lock mechanism makes the whole case thicker than most cases so they can afford to make it flat.
hello good afternoon ! Can anyone help me?? I have a support like this with this base for wirlless charging but my cover doesn't hold like this! Could it be because my iPhone Mag case has a black ring on the back??
The black ring is just the default colour option. It still has magnets on the back.
I bought the wrong part! because it's not MAG! and then the phone doesn't stick to the piece! I will make the return
Oh no! Hope you get the right one next time
I have Quad Lock for my IPhone 12 now I upgraded to 15. Should I only buy the case or both the case and handle in my car? ☺️
If you’re happy with the use of the quad lock case from before, then go for it. But if you didn’t make full use of its mounting system, then any other MagSafe case and a magnetic charging mount will be just as fine, and likely cheaper too.
hello!!!! I have a question, does it also compatible with apple wallet or most snap on stand and wallet?
I’m not sure. You think it would be, being MagSafe. I don’t have a wallet to try but it works with MagSafe battery packs.
Hi, I can confirm that the case is compatible with wallets
So it's just a magnetic metal ring in the case then? No actual magnets in theh quad lock case?
It has the same as in any other MagSafe case. There are magnets inside the case
Weird I have a iPhone 15 pro max and MagSafe charging puck does not work with this case on
Is it official charging puck and Are you using the mag case version of this case? They make one without MagSafe also
@@CarPlayLife yes it’s an official Apple charging puck and yea got the mag Quadlock case I reached out to them and they are aware of the issue
Oh wow. I didn’t know this. I guess I got lucky with the MagSafe products I tried this case out with. I had charging issues with my Bellini stand and 13 pro case at times. Maybe this is a long term issue they’ve been having.
Same for me@@baymaac101 - but at least the offered my -30% on my next order because of the issue... :)
Same with me. Got the Apple MagSafe charger and it hardly works at all, when it does work it’s very intermittent.
Could you by any chance weigh the case? Even their website doesn’t seem to list the actual weight of the case.
Sure. It weighs 49grams (just the case). Hope this helps
@@CarPlayLife that’s super helpful! Thank you so much!
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.
Nice, I just bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max today. I was contemplating this but I'm worried about inconsistent performance with some magsafe chargers. I have a few around the house and on the car. No way I"m going to ditch all of it and get the official Quadlock mag charger. Hope they fix this but I'm holding off even at 30% off. Would be nice though.
Is this a confirmed issue?
Is magsafe case thicker than non mag safe?
I don’t think it is. The thickness is mostly down to the quad lock indentation on the back. They can inset the magnets in all that spare space that the mount uses up.
It is, the non MagSafe is thicker in the middle, but thinner overall. Also a bit lighter
Thanks 🤫
Thanks for watching
This case rocks 🪨
It’s a great case. I still use it when out on the bike
