@@juniormartinez2586 Forgot to mention, this worked on my 2001 RAV4. Key wasn't stuck, but wouldn't go past ACC. Part took me a day to get, but the rest took maybe 10 minutes.

Thanks friend, I'm waiting for the cylinder to arrive, my problem is that the key doesn't turn. I imagine it's the same procedure.

Thanks for the informative video, this is really helpful. I just ran into the same issue, I have a couple questions for you if you get the chance. So I have a 2002 toyota celica, and I have a feeling the job will be the same since the celica here is only a year apart. I went into the dealership and got the keys and ignition cylinder lock ordered however they mentioned some things to me that I am questionable on. Did you have to get your keys programmed? Im not sure if 01' or 02' celica keys come chipped, I hope not cause they had a bunch of additional charges they listed off for programming. Also another question, they mentioned it might not work just popping the new cylinder lock in because of it might needing the ECU to be reprogrammed with the new cylinder, however with your video Im confident doing it this way will work. Im just not sure if I should be concerned about the ECU thing cause they said it would run up the charges a lot. Im not sure if the 02 is to different from the job done in the 01 here, wondering if you might have any insights or thoughts on it? Thanks again for the amazing content!!

Lost Key to car, and don't have the money for a new ignition cylinder lock, is it possible to start car with a flat head screw driver when ignition lock switch is removed?
