Hi Petar, I'm curious if Las Terrenas is kitefoil-friendly? I rarely see anybody on hydrofoil in yours or any other videos from this spot. Also google map shows lots of corals under the water. Is it a big issue? How deep is it?
Hello, yes it’s true that we have lots of reefs around here, there are anyway many people doing wingfoil and kite foil. We also do lessons for wingfoil and efoil. So definitely is possible to do it just you have to know where is the safe and where the danger zone :)
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar Thank you for quick reply. We are (my wife and myself) planning our next trip to Caribbean and thinking between Cabarete or Las Terrenas. Have not been in either spots. Our go to destination is Cuba and we love it. Just wanted to change scenery. My wife don't like heavy traffic so Cabarete does not look good in this department. Do you think mid/end of April would be a good time to visit Las Terrenas or some other time of the year would be preferable?
@@crocodile172 Yes Cabarete is definitely to busy, on the streets and on the beach. Las Terrenas looks like a complete different country compared to Cabarete, and definitely way more beautiful. In April is also expected to be windy but maybe not every day as in July and August. The super good side about April is that is beautiful weather, many days of wind and it's pretty empty with people(April& May), so you have so much space on the water, or around Las Terrenas if you want to do other activities if there is no wind. If you need more info and you need help with organising your stay in Las Terrenas we can help you with accommodation, transfers, rental etc. Contact us on info@kitesurfexperience.com Jade, the manager of the school will be on your disposal :)
