I think the garbage noises is a signal someone isn't controlled by themselves
My theory is that Spamton and Kris are both being controlled by someone [[obvious]] and that Spamton is probably being controlled by Gaster and Kris being controlled by...us the players
That makes sense of that you aren't in control stuff from the first chapter
So thats why spamton still has a string?
He just makes people crazy and gives them shadowy gems

I like to think that Gaster in Deltarune is just some weirdo no one talks about who lives in a bunker at the bottom of town.
imagine you can open the bunker and it's a shop where gaster sells you random things
and thats all his secret and all these gaster things on undertale were just sneak peeks
so sad after i finished the game i deleted it and never explored easter eggs or secrets

I think gaster owns the dark world his sound track is called darker yet darker and he's also in a dark void and yea he looks kinda corrupted so that's why I think.

Actually- if you speed it up by 696% it becomes the exact bpm of the original- Toby is a very large fan of demonic lore, and is one of the few people who is aware that 696 is the real "number of the beast" since 666 was a mistranslation during a language change.

Gaster's entry sound is also Muffet's laugh slowed down, plus I recall it being said that the noise gets louder when you get CLOSER to the forest, not the bunker door- so this could imply that Muffet is living in the forest.
Wait does the mean that the dark world is the place where gaster is trapped?
One of the Addisons after Spamton neo (Pacifist, not snowgrave) fight said in one line that they put their ear to the phone and only heard garbage noise.
Also, in the start when you're "building" your character, you can hear his motif in the background
Not to mention the fact that the vessel looks suspiciously similar to the goners from undertale in terms of colour scheme
internally the character creation sequence is called the goner maker
Also that "Another Him" there's Gaster's Theme, and also the True Lab theme can be heard in the same song if you speed up

"Beware of the man that came from the other world" might refer to sans or gaster, and river person dialogue "Beware of the man that speaks in hands" is definetly refering to gaster

The bunker entrance is just screaming dark world entrance. It’s literally a double door like all the other dark world entrances. Same can be said about the door in the flower shop.
The best gaster cameo was when you go to ice-e’s and talk to the buff guy 17 times. The way gaster just eats the whole pizza after the minigame is over is awesome!

Gaster in Deltarune is like G-man in Half-life
from the last line of entry 17 "what do you two think" gave me an theory: when we try to call in the phone, its garbage noise and the same as spamton cell phone, and we all know spamton is a puppet so this means, the wires on spamton actually is owned by gaster, however, his soul seems to be unknown, this could mean that he made a deal with gaster and lost his soul and fell under control of gaster, kris also is under control of us player, however kris can easily take out the player's soul. Also, when at the bunker at chapter 2, we can see snowy and monster kid saying a theory about that bunker is really dangerous so this could be mean: gaster after fell into his own creation (the core) had been across time and space and somehow got to the deltarune universe so he made an bunker to represent his lab in undertale, however, on an experiment, he accidentally made a dark fountain and the world fell on chaos, this also are in the tale of delta rune, so this could be mean that gaster created the dark world by an accident, so from here we can know that gaster still connect to undertale, a follower of him say "im holding a piece of him right here" so that could mean gaster after fell into his creation made him lost a piece of him. so this means gaster belong to both deltarune and undertale however, this theory can only continue in the future.

Then suzy made them go away is what I remember correctly and there are 6 different colourt flowers in asgore his flower shop these flowers are a reference to the 6 souls. My first time even trying to call on the phone in the dark world was surprising, I was in a call on Discord streaming the game with my dumbass friend group and started theorizing what the sound was 💀👍

So Gaster is still a very relevant piece of the puzzle. He is working in the bunker, but we can’t access it… yet.

Everyone knew it. In fact Gaster is more of a Deltarune than an Undertale character at this point
what's also interesting is that in one of the songs in the OST, Scarlet forest, you can hear Gaster's theme at 1:20 if you listen closely to the rhythm
which is funny since that's the music in the area where you get the Egg.
The note is similar to the phone is because probably the entry 17 was broadcasted in the same location as deltarune where the dark world have weird static noises. The cat at the shop in deltarune refers to weird knight arriving and making everyone goes crazy is refering to gaster.

No. There are only like 3 instances of the "entry 17 noise" apearing somewhere. It's not gaster. It's tied to him at best but we don't even know that for sure

i honestly think that deltarune is the universe that gaster got teleported to
I always assumed Gaster was the one who called the player to the town. How he did that, I'm not sure, but I've always assumed he's living down there in his bunker, as all the monsters are scared and don't go near it. It's not a city bunker at all. Assuming the lab spans most of the city, somewhere near the size of the True Lab, he could have just been under Kris's house when he called the determination soul from beyond. After all, we seemingly start with a red soul being summoned from above followed with "are we... connected?"
I think, by the end of Deltarune, we *will* meet the Knight. I firmly believe the Knight is Gaster, and that at the end of the game, we will meet him in his lab, the same day as Asriel returns home-- and that he'll finally explain, to both Kris and YOU, the player, how you got to be in this situation. How he brought you there on that morning.
Now I know some people won’t believe me. But I actually did see this. So I think it was in Chapter 2, I knocked on the house where Sans lives, and Gaster appeared (the same sprite that has been showed throughout the short) and it’s fine if you don’t believe me, but I saw it.
I played deltarune today and got freaked out because I used the phone. I never played it before.
