Depeche Mode Sound of the Universe, Delta Machine, Spirit CD (Unboxing)

This time I’ve decided to combine these three albums because I don’t have a lot to say about them. To me these three albums are the worst DM have ever done. Monotonous and simplistic sound that makes the songs sound like demos (a joke about Demo Mode here, please), completely forgettable lyrics, and an ok vocals. There are some songs I kinda liked (Wrong, Heaven, Going Backwards, Cover Me), but to me they’re nothing compared to their previous songs and albums. Moreover If you give me a song from SAS to Exciter or at least PTA, I’ll recognize it. But if you give me a song from SOTU to Spirit i will be able to name neither a song nor the album it’s from. It’s such a shame and fail since DM had raised a very high bar but when you reach the top, get ready to drop, prepare yourself for the fall.
