God, this makes me cry every time. This entire storyline was just ... WOW!!!! Erika just -- phew -- after watching her you are just left breathless with how damn good she is!!!
@dereka79 I have the same disorder as Viki and Jessica and I have always been blown away at how accurate and realisticly portray Disassociative Identity Disorder 👏👏👏 good job oltl writers!
Erika is an outstanding actor, she played this whole DID story line in such a way it really hit home. I watched this all when it first aired and now it’s 2024 and never gets old.
Vicki was always one of my favorite characters on OLTL. My mom used to watch this which got me into it from childhood. I watch some of these clips and I remember how good it was. I miss this show almost 10 years after it’s departure from tv.
Poor Vicki 😔😢 This is still so heartbreaking watching this after so many years. Erika deserved this Emmy more than any Emmy she won. Michael Malone wrote OLTL on fire those 5 years.
You know for once i would just like for ppl to comment on something without downing something else. Life is too short to be negative all the time. Anyway, brilliant acting by Erika Slezak.
@@brynne77 Having Victor Lord alive was incredibly stupid.....right up there with that season of Dallas that was just a dream. Victor alive meant the ongoing feud between Vicki and Dorian and all the stories about who really killed Victor were all called into question and pretty much erase. I don't know anyone who was around for Nancy Pinkerton's possible murder of Victor who liked the return of Victor.
Actually, Dorian eventually confessed to killing Victor. Viki didn't even really seemed to care at that point. And the fact that Victor never was dead to begin with.......
Ironic that Viki said that her kids were lucky that they had so many adults to turn to when Jessica was sexually abused and videotaped as a child which was how Tess came to be. Natalie should be grateful she wasn't the twin that was kept instead of given away.
@suzannec8400 A child pornographer by the name of Norman Leeds. Apparently, when Viki was Niki, Niki had Jessica in town as Niki frequent bars. That, much like every other story later... was a re-write.
Where was kevin? I guess they fired the actor bc he was the worst. Than in 96 they hired kevin Stapleton. Then they fired him for tim Gibbs and he was playing kevin as a cheating pyscho. Erika was amazing every scene she is outstanding. I was a little shocked by Tina's response " how could u say this about our father" that's how u react to ur poor sister telling u she was raped for years ? And Jessica's tone is kinda blaming " for years ? Why didnt u tell ur mother ?" I guess when its incest it's hard on family. If I was viki I'd have no remorse for killing even a parent for raping me for years . Viki is a good person man
Wow, that was pretty creepy! Especially when she suddenly turned into another personality. I guess she was supposed to have turned into her father. Thank god she was able to control that and turn back into Viki.
@@brendalovesmariah you are right but the way she acted back and forth back then kinda made me think they were building her up to having D.I.D.. What made think that even more is when they would talk about her smoking and acting out Tess did say that was her and not Jess
It turn out Viki caused Jessica to have DID since Jessica was a little girl. Can someone find the episode when Jessica had a conversation with Dr. Susan Hannah fearing she ( Jessica) could have DID
There's no way in hell that he wasn't abused or hurt in some sort of way no one can be that monsterous and not have gone through something traumatic at some but it's definitely not an exscuse to do anything even remotely as crazy as this those people who do this are broken they had there inecents taken away as a young child so if you want to have sympathy for them that's up to you but it definitely didn't make it okay but also keep in mind that this is a show and not deity although keep in mind that similar disorders do exist and similar events do take place but still it's just a show and not to be taken seriously so it doesn't matter what Victor was or wasn't because again it's just a show And no not all people who were abused do bad things I was abused alot myself and I didn't become evil but all people who hurt others have had something or something's very traumatic in there lives

She was in the soap elite
Great Actress
I'm sorry I'm sitting here crying these people think child molesting is a joke on utube it's not

I am happy to say I have been reintigrated since 2013
Both RObin and Erika were ABSOLUTELY FABOULOUS in this storyline!!!!!!!!!
I'm crying watching this. Wow superb acting, writing, directing, everything!!!
Erika is an outstanding actor, she played this whole DID story line in such a way it really hit home. I watched this all when it first aired and now it’s 2024 and never gets old.
This was a phenomenal story. Writing,Production, & acting.Hard to believe it’s been 25 years. At time OLTL & ES were my everything!
Vicki was always one of my favorite characters on OLTL. My mom used to watch this which got me into it from childhood. I watch some of these clips and I remember how good it was. I miss this show almost 10 years after it’s departure from tv.
I have loved and adored Erica/Vicki since she first appeared in 1971.
wow.erika slezak did a great job as viki.
My Favorite Soap and also
My Favorite Show
Amazing acting by all
Clint Richie looked good with the beard.
The mind is truly powerful...
God I miss this soap.... everything about OLTL was historic
The show either was really good or really bad. No in-between.
erika rocks.
Poor Vicki 😔😢 This is still so heartbreaking watching this after so many years. Erika deserved this Emmy more than any Emmy she won. Michael Malone wrote OLTL on fire those 5 years.
Yes, the absolute apex of OLTL during those years.
One Life to Live was on fire in the mid to late 1990s. This storyline was the reason why.
You know for once i would just like for ppl to comment on something without downing something else. Life is too short to be negative all the time.
Anyway, brilliant acting by Erika Slezak.
She deserved that Emmy for this
Michael Malone, co-head writer during this story, passed away August 19.
So good this was. OLTL did it!
OMG!!!! 1990's OLTL was Daytime TV at its FINEST!!!!
The 80s were better. They went overboard with all the doom and gloom and giving Vicki way too many personalities.
Erika Slezak said she didn't really appreciate how they turned the characters father into a monster
I thought her father was not ever supposed to be a good man. I watched OLTL off and on but I always got the impression her father was not good.
very very good actress Erika yes lord
This was an incredible story. They pushed this story so far and it worked. Then years later they blew it when they had Victor Lord still alive...
I know. If they wanted to bring Victor back it should have been Vicki's alter of Victor, that at least would have made sense.
Hm. That's a shame because it sounds like fans really liked the way they did that storyline from the beginning.

There’s speculation that it wasn’t Victor at all. Even Dorian said she didn’t think it was him.
whats weird is jessica didnt tell anyone either thats why tess came about it very sad

T James you're right, but it was one of vickster alters who killed him. To be more exact the alter smother him with the pillow
Dorian said she doubts thr dude from 2003 was Victor
@@shaquana12hyatt No. Dorian finally confessed to his death and Viki just fluffed it off.
This was the show’s last awesome storyline.
Wow..
Where was Kevin for this big confession?
In recast prison. I think this is between Jack Armstrong & Kevin Stapleton era.
And where was Todd?

Victor killed Viki's mother Jean while she was pregnant with Meredith. That means Meredith was under the age of 12 while Victor was raping Viki.
I guess that they forgot about that part!

They need to take Vicki straight to jail with all she has done.
Clearly DID is an insanity defense.
She was suffering from DID. It would hold up in court.
