I recommend classifying only with the 16” Pack Rat.
With the 23” Paystreak Finder, and the 3’ (Riverbed) Hog, it is not necessary.
As for legality’s, According to the Federal Government (Patent Trademark Office,) and by way of Legal Definition, the Green Mountain Gold Traps Are Legal and 100% a classifier.
Looks like doesn’t fly in a court of law.
A sluice box, by way of Legal Definition, is something that has riffles, something that has a gate to control water flow, and something that is long, as in Hundreds Of Feet.
Vermont, and other States think they can pull stuff out of thin air, and tamper with Legal Definitions.
One day, we will meet in a court of law.
I look forward to making an example out of them.

About a week ago, I tried to explain to a conservation officer that the Green Mountain Gold Trap was a classifier while asking him if I could use one in Vermont, and he laughed and said nope, that's a sluice. "You're good with buckets and those screens" he said, pointing to my Garrett 1/2" mesh classifier, "but any mechanical advantage is a no-no, and if it looks like a sluice, it's s sluice."

I'm a fairly new gold prospector I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction of an area that has been hit with flash flooding that should have significant amounts of gold is there any chance you're going to be out there tomorrow I don't really know what I'm doing
