We tell our costumers to turn off the systems if there not working. But half the time they don’t realize a simple mode switch on the thermostat to off works. Flipping breakers can cause one to fail
i keep a couple of 12in and 16in quick clamps on my truck for a 3rd hand to hold panels up in situations like that when the right angle driver wants to wobble
Ecm motors are super sensitive. If they get wet once..9 times outta 10 that motor will crap out soon. Psc motors can go underwater and still work after 😂.
Would love to see you dive into more of the financial side of these jobs. Maybe a run down of what you charged the client at the end of the video for Labor cost, supplies, etc. Love these videos man keep it up!
Been running my own hvac business for past 17yrs. I just charge standard union wages for my time/labor. And whatever your standard service call is around your area that's what I run with. If you're a mom n pop shop, as long as your prices are under the bigger guys you'll be good 👍

Would it have been the same price / more expensive to replace the ECM Module if that's all that was bad? I often find replacing a motor with a new module is less expensive to the customer.

Where is the blower motors fail all the time. I always put the old style back in and rewired it.

Most manufacturers now suggest to just replace both motor and ecm head even if only 1 of them is what's shot. 🤷♂️
