- On Sunday 22nd September 2019, Siedah Garrett performed an intimate gig at the Pizza Express Live in Holborn, London.
Denise Pearson joined her on stage to perform this number one hit that Siedah had with Michael Jackson in 1987.
Also on stage were Mo Pleasure on keyboards and Lari Basilio on guitar.
I am equally impressed by that guitarist!

Nicely done ladies! This was supposed to be me and Michael's theme song for each other! I thought I would make it our theme song, lol! I'll admit it, I wanted to sing this with Michael on stage, but unfortunately that never happened. A girl can dream, right? And Siedah, you still got it! Michael is beaming down on both you and Denise! Denise, you made my childhood crush proud when you sang his part! Siedah, thank you for writing "Man In The Mirror" for Michael! When he sings it, it inspires me to be positive and to make the world a better place like he did. Every time I hear him whisper, "Make that change" at the end of the song, I feel like Michael is encouraging me to make the world a better place! I know Michael would be very proud and happy that you're still singing that song too! I hope to see you and meet you one day in person and hear you sing as well!
