John Goodman on His History with the Coen Brothers | The New Yorker Festival - Розваги
No one ever asks him about living with Bruce Willis, BW tended bar before moonlighting and JG wasn't big yet. Gotta be some gold in those stories.
Walter's character is based on John Milius who wrote the first two Dirty Harry movies & got the Academy Award for writing Apocalypse Now.
*"Also Dude, let's not forget, let's NOT forget that keeping wildlife, um... an amphibious rodent, for... um, you know domestic... within the city... that ain't legal either."*
😂👍 What a guy
Legend
John is the greatest danke
John Goodman is being too humble when it comes to Walter’ character. I do agree that actors are secondary players in the creation process but, man, did he make an input in the way the character turned out! Top job
Raising Arizona is my favorite JG Coen bros movie.
Jeremy Simpson
Me too saw it in the theatre with my dad in 87 we laughed our asses off.
Saw it on VHS. Still chuckling

great movie; great ending... and, yeah: that role was perfect for him
I'm English. I watched Roseanne and there he was, the father I never had. The crazy dad, the immature dad, the loving dad.
It's a league game, Smokey
If you serve the script, the script serves you.

Larry Wright is a nice guy and a brilliant writer too.
