I love that you treat Sunday as a Sabbath. I believe that many of today’s stress could be handled so much better if everyone had one day a week that is totally for resting - it was good enough for God to rest and he has far more strength than me, so why wouldn’t we? I go to church (if we’re not in lockdown), then I spend the rest of the day reading my Bible, watching sermons online, and people who teach about Bible study methods eg Coffee and Bible Time, or spiritual topics I’m interested in. I love it!
I love getting out on days when most people would stay in! That coffee shop looks great!

The Sabbath is Friday sunset through Saturday sunset. God rested on the 7th day (Saturday) not Sunday :')

I am still 16 but always wanted to go to a bible college . But i used to play alot of minecraft and forgot my purpose. But seeing you guys study in moody inspires me alot. Thank you.

Aww your videos are so encouraging. I like how you look at keeping a Sabbath as a spiritual discipline with spiritual and physical benefit. I feel like most Christians either ignore it and say it’s not for the Christian, keep it legalistically, or (and this one is me 🙋♀️) say “ there’s probably a benefit in it but I am too busy and disorganized to handle that so I just won’t even” ... Thanks for making me think again... 🤔
I love that coffee shop with the fireplace...so nice! I love Aldi too. You can save so much money there. A meal plan is such a good idea...helps you budget your money better too. I agree no working on Sunday...go to church and spend the rest of the day relaxing your mind and body and also praying. I enjoyed this today!
I love, love, love Chicago. It's my favorite Midwestern city. Before I came back home to Indiana I was planning to either move to Nashville or Chicago but my mom got sick so I had to come back to Indiana (I would definitely do it all over again especially since she's gone).

Firstly, I visited Chicago in winter a few years ago and your vlogs always bring back lovely memories 🤍

I still find it funny how some people make such a big deal about weather when it’s like -8. Being from Saskatchewan, -50 something is when I start making a big deal about it! Absolutely not making fun of you Ashley, I just think it’s funny 😂

You are so much of a better adult than me lol. I would never go out when it is that cold and if I did I would fall asleep in front of the fire, not study for 6 hours! I also probably would just buy fast food or premade food. Yeah, I have a lot of growing to do in health department. That I can change, might even be able to study that long if I really tried but going out in freezing weather, nope. Not something I can do. Or would ever want to. I value my fingers and toes and wish to keep them lol. 🥶

I can never keep your names straight. But you have to try cauliflower bites. You can fry them, but I just bake mine in the oven. It's really simple. Half cup of flower, half cup of water, paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper. Bake in over 425? until done. I dip mine in ranch (it would be good with Franks hot sauce too). The ranch makes it not vegan. Stir the cauliflower pieces in the bowl with the flour mixture.

I like Aldi's too. Guess what? In my old neighborhood where my dad still lives, they are putting in an Aldi's!!!!!!!! So I'll be able to shop there. I always forget something I really wanted too.

I do Sabbath on Saturday as the bible says.
I do it on Saturday because when GOD created the world he rested at the 7th day not at the 1st day ( Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. )

You should try resting on the original sabbath day (Friday sunset-Saturday sunset) never forget Sunday sabbath was changed by man not by God.
