I know this will make you cringe, but... have you considered suspending a shelf from the ceiling for a projector? You've got such a high ceiling that you could put it a good distance back and out of the way. It would be visible, but it would also look kind of cool since your space is already so industrial and urban. Yeah, it would be a PITA to set up initially, but it would also be out of the way. And since the angle wouldn't have to be too steep or wacky, you'd get a great picture.

We did consider this, but in the end decided the short throw projector made more sense for us.
