When the nail thrust deep into the neck, it can inflict a severe injury if it cuts the blood vessels. The neck is full of blood vessels, even a trained fighter will stop their aggression if he got this injury.

I have used this personally so I know for a fact this works. This inflicts extreme pain and leaves scars, sometimes permanent.

Yep I actually scratched myself to see how painful it was and yeah it left some marks on my face not gonna lie.
It saved me from my brother once. Since then, i keep my nails sharp and long on purpose.

The shredder! IIt works very good! Attack first and take control over the head and follow the face with mauling of the throat and the eyes and if you need choke the attacker out.

Thank you!!! It took me an hour to find a REAL selfdefense video on you tube.. These martial arts, krav maga what ever instructors are doing women and children a disservice convincing them they are going to KUNG FU their way out of a rape or obduction.. I have 15 girl scouts who I am want to train to be WILD FREAKING CATS... You guys are spot on.. BITE, CLAW, KICK, POKE anything goes... I know I when on a rant but this can be life or death.. Not a matrix scene like most schools teach..

About 30 years ago I got into a altercation and the guy scratched me across the face. I came unglued and was going hurt him bad. Three or four guys were holding me back. Damn I was pissed! I still think about it now and again.
Luckily you didn't get that scratch in the eyes, a trained clawed fighter is more precise in using claw to attack, once the claw hit the eyes the fight is over. It drew blood too.

My mum used to work for the police as a forensic photographer, and she always told me to use my fingernails on a guys face if ever I was attacked. Not only will it give you a good chance of getting out of the situation, but you will also have his DNA under your fingernails, so when you report it to the police they’ve got a better chance of catching the guy.. ..Who is also the one walking around with a face that’s been slashed to buggery.

Video idea: Can't you make a video/video series where you talk about and maybe review different self-defense objects like self-defense sprays to sharp self-defense key-chains to sharp object to normal things that can be used as self defense objects. And talk about how to use them, if you think that they are good or bad and do you need to practice to use them just as you have to practice to practice self-defence without any objects. And what can be used against yourself if the attacker gets it? That would be really interesting!!

I'm into mix martial arts, but if I have to use the clawing approach I would. But lol at her job isn't to make you tap out or knock you out, or something.
Helen looks like an ideal woman. Absolutely charming, nice and kind person and at the same time an ultimate fighting machine that can rip you apart. Beautiful, loving and deadly, a totally fascinating combination.
I envy you Nick that you can know her.
What Will happen if you fight someone that is just like you? A guy that have a lot of experience of Streetfights and think just like you do and uses same dirty moves like you, Being as aggressiv and fast with his punches and kicks as you etc... Should do a video about that!

There is no point. Guy like him will not want to fight. He will fight only if YOU leave him no choice. In this case everything will end in just
a split second. Not in your favor off course. It says in The Book of Five Rings that when you face a master of martial arts you anticipate defeat. Simple as that.

good point if someone is that stupid to keep coming after u as your poking there eyes/face well dumb on there part good on ours.
I'm a 6,4 240 pound man. As a result people would try and jump me ( multiple people against me ) in a fight. Your not gonna win a 4 or 5 on one fight. But what I could do is knock one out and bust the others up. When I'm going down in that situation I grab the person I can and bury my thumbs in their eyes. The getting kicked and hit w sticks only motivated me to sink my thumbs deeper. Just my 2 cents on the subject

Once I scratched my brother just under the eye ball in a physical fight and... people thought he had a black eye when really I clawed him... come to think of it I should probably cut my nails, their becoming my no.1 go to defense whether it's with my kin or not, kinda scary really

Advice for long nails, they will break if you scratch like a cat does (move them towards down), it is safer if you pull fingers on the side, if you understand what i mean..

Fingers into the eyes are definitely the equalizer. As philosopher Terry Silver would say, "A man can't see he can't fight".

Joshua you are only partly right. Nothing is better than a sharp finger in the eye. A hammer fist and the rest you mentioned will usuall just piss an attacker off as the majority of women can't hit hard enough but a finger in the eyes will do great. I wonder if you have ever been in a street fight.
I will stop the aggression of the attacker, it inflicts permanent damage.

maybe that statement about a womans self defense should not be different from a mans should be looked at in a converse manner.maybe a mans self defense should not be much different than a womans! throwing strikes are effective and expected.a person ripping ,biteing and tearing at your face brings things to a whole different level and psychology.

I feel sorry for women. I don't know why nature made the procreators of human life physically weaker than males. It's very mysterious.
It's not OK to hurt in the eyes and cause him/her blind, that is overreact, too barbarians. That's serious crime and ruin other person's life. If you do so, you should be in prison long time and pay rest of your life to victim because blind person suffer rest of his/her life and can't live normal life. You destroy his/her life forever. Eyes are most important for us all people.
