- A water recirculation system is defined as a production system that uses water more than once in the same unit of cultivation, after being treated and renewed to a determined percentage. This way, a farming system that incorporates water recirculation technology consists of two major clearly defined units: one devoted to the cultivation of organisms and another for the treatment of irrigation water.
RAS is a nice system, Im using a simple RAS n SLO for tilapia on my bucket. Only 0.05% of fish die..
I am planing to build for Barramundi, can you explain what is simple RAS. Which equipments required for simple RAS. I think, rotary drum, uv light and moving or fixed bed bio filter.

Seems to be simple fresh water system. Why waste the waste. Connect it to aquaponic system and grow veggies. That is where the money is anyway.
