I own a shop and we print digitally and offset printing. Started out small and invested in equipment and eventually got big enough to hire employees. Just keep doing what you do and grind. Looks like you got it all coming together nicely!!
Hey buddy nice shop you have there. I have done something similar but its changed over time. I started with my dad in an actual shop space in 1986 with offset presses and a thermographer which does raised print. Over time and as the market has changed I have converted and built a couple cnc machines etc... Anyway my real comment is with your garage door I am not sure where you are at but you might be having some ink issues and drying issues with your Roland printer... I would suggest getting some styrofoam sheets and cutting them to fit into those slats in your garage door to insulate it. This will regulate the temps in your shop as well as do some noise suppression. Just a thought. I did that to mine and it helped alot. I am in Arizona so we have hot summers and cold winters so it really help to regulate my temps ion the shop. Anyway good luck and nice shop again looks really good.
Congratulations on taking your designs to the next level. Too many designers think they only need to sit on their butt and not learn output machines ( printers, CNC Routers, Laser, etc...)
i have watched these vids so much now and i wanna break down at this point. I do believe ya'll work very hard to be where you are but i wish i was in the US or Canada.. i need certain devices that cost a fortune in my country and that's my biggest downfall.... We are the same age and i want to do nothing but graphic design and printing.....your vid had something the others didn't have and that was a basic back story that encourages and i appreciate that.. Good job
