@@slowhornet4802 I was just a kid when it came out, so I barely knew what was going on. I just found it so cool to fly around and explore a 3D world. As a Swede, I was excited to see there were Viggens. However, as an adult I checked videos online and saw both the UFO, dragon and the zeros. Such cool easter eggs.
We know how this works by now. We’ve seen images like this and experienced the timeline and how long it takes from images like these. We are a LONG way out to get excited as far as I’m concerned. The only thing this does is confirm the project has a pulse.
Last time I saw a 3D Tornado was in Strike Commander. (Last time I saw a Tornado was Thursday ... there's an airbase 12 kilometers away from where I live now, yay!)
3D model looks great! 👍👍 Looks like the module is still a very long way off from release though :( But thanks for sharing your progress, it's really nice to get an update on how the project is evolving! ❤
Love the model (internal and external) but lay off the HDRI on the next video - a simple turntable would have done. What 3D software are you using?? I use Blender and Lightwave
You haven't done yourselves any favours with this. There is nothing to see from the original 3d models you showed... I found models on the web that look very similar. If this is all you have it's many, many years away. Updates are great... but you're better showing nothing than something that's nothing, thinking it's something. That said... I wish you well and hope I live long enough to see it.
There is already a flying version with EFM and basic systems, so... I wouldn't be that pessimistic even though it is certainly not anywhere near a date to be set.
So after many years in the Airforce as a rock ape and my brother is still serving (ex Lossiemouth) I loved the scrambles of the F3's. Can we get a scramble video? From cold and dark, to in the air and full burner to intercept. Obviously on MSFS. A walk through talk through of drills & SOP's would be class too.
Due to ED's new Fortran code, we will be delayed until we are able to implement the new compression for analog tape. We anticipate the module will first take to the air in the summer of 2030, give or take 2 weeks. As always, thank you for your passion and support.
If only DCS or Eagle D had some real strong competition. The sim would be what it should be and modules wouldnt take so long. Dont get me wrong DCS is incrediable theres just no one pusbing them if they want to stay on top.
If there has to be a back-seater, I hope it's not some Yank cowboy! Will be interesting to see what ED do with the soundfiles for a non-American aircraft.
plot twist... AviaStorm are pretending that the Tornado is years from release. but they actually make it live the same day as the Afganistan map. What? any thing is possible right?
PS context: being wanted to get into DCS for a few years already, but with the F-4 coming out is the motivation I needed to invest in it. Saving money to buy the kit now
@@dienkhungtung i mean.. whens the phantom been announced? Like 5 years ago? With this being the progress on the tornado id say its at least another 5-7 years untill we get to hold the stick..

The comments really tell you a lot about the current state of DCS. I say current but it's been this way for a decade. Things really need to change and developers need to light a fire under their asses. Maybe if Nick was a better CEO and less of a money hungry thief DCS would actually be a fun game to play and worth the money. As it is Heatblur is the only Dev putting in the work and making modules worth every dollar. If only those modules had a stable environment to fly in and AI that worked to fly with/against.
Not sure why you think the CEO of ED has anything to do with how 3rd parties - some of whom are just teams of guys that have regular jobs and to it in their spare time - make their modules, and in particular how fast they make them. Maybe you should give DCS a go, it can be quite fun - at least thats what the majority of us think.
4 YEARS TO RELEASE LETS GOO
I like your optimism.
There will be no surviving examples of this aircraft by launch 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
See you guys in 8 years 🔥🔥🔥💯💯
WE ARE MAKING IT OUT OF 2035 WITH THIS ONE 🗣️ 🗣️ 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
i hope my kids will be able to fly this model in the future
2 Venusian weeks !!! (9 Earth years)
Even without the textures it's looking appealing!
That shot against the sunset reminds me of the boxart for F-14 Fleet Defender.
that was a nice sim... do you remember the UFO?

Keep up the good work. Its a long road, and a hard slog, but I am sure you will get there!
Can't wait to fly around in this badboy when I retire in 2062
They should put this up for Pre-Order now. Seems to be how things go.. or even just release it as early access..
Lmao….true words!
heatblur be like
RAZBAM be like (glad they haven't been paid)
2 solid weeks right there.
Let me guess, the code work has just begun. Wow great job you guysssss. 7 years later!!!
Excellent job! Thanks for the update. Subscribed.
Comin along...looks good 👍
Looks that could kill! No matter how many times I see it, I’m always surprised at the size of that tail fin.
Right, with CL thrust the vertical stab could be made more to scale.
I want to fly a RAF Tornado GR1 with a 1991 Gulf War paint scheme - complete with sexy nose art!
Never saw a Tornado in full 3d, always in profile or straight on. Looking very niiiice!

The faster you guys build this the faster my wallet can open up to you. Can't wait to fly this, hands down my favourite aircraft of all time.
I like to call it the F14s little brother due to it almost reassembling it. My favorite aircraft with swept wings is the MiG23.
Fantastic, take your time and do this up like Heatblur did their tomcat. Absolute top tier devs.
What's the update? We saw this thing a long time ago.... seriously what's new?
Someone can't read. They finished primary 3d modeling and are starting work on the textures.
DCS! LET'S GET READY TO WAIT! YEAH!
i look forward to seeing this in dcs 2
Good job, guys. Looking forward to it!
At this pace I'm pretty certain it is one person
Its Nice to have something that also does what the SAAB Viggen does, but very well.
Love it!

Calm down guys, It ain't Razbam with 69 3D modelers and 1 programmer!
That one programmer managed to make the best radar in the history of commercial simulation, putting to shame ED.
