It might be a good idea, if you're planning on staying there forever, you might want hallways wide enough for people in wheelchairs. You never know who will be in your home. 😊
And some ramps instead and of stairs. We have up down up situation and a daughter that has to use a walker, it's useful. We are trying to figure out how to change things up for her.
I get the visual & thats gonna be awesome! I recommend making your bin slab 3-4' bigger around than the bin, for 1. To have a wrap-around sidewalk & 2. To keep rain from splashing up mud on the bin
So happy with the drone shots. Thank you for them. I love what you two are doing to the house. It will be beautiful when all is done. Jason, my dad always told me it would take time, but will be done, and the way I want . And beautiful because I planned it that way. So do what you need to and I'm will watch with pleasure.
I've watched ya'll for a long time, you've had tons of obstacles and I'm so glad to see ya'll finally making yourselves a future home. This is awesome.
Looks great -- thanks for showing the orange outline, I finally have the front and back figured out. Hope you didn't or don't get any of the cruddy snowy weather and I also hope you get the warm weather you need to get the rock and cement work done.
Don't forget to over pour your round foundation to give you some extra room and do any plumbing you need to do. Plus, outside spigots and outside electric plugs. People often forget to think those things through. Also, hopefully that is the den on the other side of that hall or the room there will be very narrow.
it looks like you can easily add another grain bin to the other side for even more square footage in the future 😉 just in case you have multiples 🤪❤❤❤ can not wait!!!
jason and the BOSS ( Danielle), you may want to pour a slab for the grain bin to sit on. move the grain bin. then pour a slab about 4" thick inside the grain bin . that way water will have to be at least 4" higher to get into the grain bin. just my 2cents worth. jim in central florida
I think double glass doors in the front would look so awesome. And your walkway in glass also. Wider hallways a must for older people and moving stuff. A tornado shelter under the bin. Have fun building. Going to be fun watching.
Interesting!!! I can't wait to see the progress of it guys! Keep up the great work and creativity! Ignore the pissy peeps. It's their issues they need to deal with not yours.
Oh my gosh, I’m so excited for both of you. I couldn’t imagine how you were going to do your house, I needed the visual. My husband tells me how he is going to do something, but until he draws it for me I usually don’t get it. So thank you for showing us. ❤❤❤
I know you let the dogs in the house maybe build a breeze way between the house and the bin for the dogs. With heat in winter and cool in summer put the fence on the backside so you can lock them up when you're gone. I mean build it like you have it but attach it to the house💜💜
I can finally see your vision. I thought you were moving the grain bin under the structure you are building. I kept saying to myself, that grain bin ain't gonna fit under that structure. I can now see your plans and it is going to be awesome. Looking forward to watching your new home come together. Thank you for sharing your plans.
Hi you guys should get heat tape it’s really heated wire to put around all the water buckets so you don’t have to break ice for water . They sell ones with auto on that turns on and off at certain temps .
the overhead was cool, gunna look nice. I think with the grain bin being round it would look better if you were to round ends of the porch out to meet the sidewalks and radius the walkway to the grain bin. No square corners on porches and sidewalks would set it apart from others.
I think this is absolutely amazing! This just makes it real. If you guys are happy with what you are doing then that’s all that matters! This is a great video ! 👏 👏
Looks like you guys been making plans - looking forward to see it all come together- at first I thought you were putting the bin right in front of the front door! Thankfully your explanation cleared that up. Should be very nice when you get done!!
Hi Jason and Danielle we all cant wait to see half of the house to see what really will come of it but i hope every thing does come together for all the hard work you too have done already 😲🤗🤗
Hey all that work your doing. Try double doors., ie moving furniture. We have a & 8 ft roll up also on the back. Ie wash room/mudroom. Moving and too cold for dogs. Bro don’t skimp on little things like extra water outlets outside. French drain pipe work, small extra pad out back for an outdoor sink and washing area, outdoor shower? Larger doors makes everything better, fyi.
Looks great! My only - unsolicited :-) - suggestion is to square out those corners where you have them notched in. Just make square corners all around the house and then you can put a flower pots/etc on those corners and still have the same walkway space all the way around.
Congratulations to you both. It sounds awesome. So proud of you all. Can't wait to watch the progress and see the finished product. Keep up the great work. ❤
I'd make the hallway a bit wider. 5-6 feet. It's going to be a small tunnel. Making it wider makes it more functional. Moving furniture. Decorating. Medical equipment. Etc. It wouldn't cost much more but would be worth it
I have a suggestion about your doors have you thought of French doors at the front and possibly the back ?they look amazing we have them I love them, only thing is when it’s -50+ up here they can get a little drafted at the bottom of the door after quite a few years but if you change the rubber at the bottom it helps.
OMG, that is going to look amazing! When you first started painting the line around the slab, I was thinking wrap around porch. Which would look awesome with your design. LOL I can't wait to watch all this come together. So excited for you guys ❤
Good morning Jason how you doing hi Danielle hey look like everything is coming together keep up the good work I'm proud of both of you I love your work keep up the good work❤
Don’t forget to have doors inside and out, wide enough to get furniture through. We had to make sure our furniture would fit through due to being over sized.
That is going to be a very nice house. If you need help get people in to help you this time mate big love to the 2 of you ok. Hope it all works out for you both ❤
Cut an 8x9.5 opening in one of your walls and slide a New 40ft shipping container into the opening so the doors will be inside your home creating massive storage and will fit the rustic design you've shared so far. Not to mention cool and different. Just a thought
Jason I loving it, so both of you going to be able to just walking around and play with each other and just cooling out in the bedroom and living room and just be apart from each other space alone time comes out of each other baby, baby, yes, happy just to see it finished
Hi Jason and Danielle. That is going to be awesome, can't wait for you to start with the built. Please keep warm in that cold, and be safe. Danielle be safe when driving back from work. Love you both❤
LOL, it is always - - - "It will make a whole lot more sense later" But not when you are always changing your mind. BTW, If you have a step in front of the front door, then MAKE IT a wide one, so that if you or Danielle are bring in the groceries and holding a box or Bag of goodies while you are unlocking the door. Think about it. As long as Danielle is happy that is KEY. After all, she is used to living in a house, not a closet.
Its not going to be 40 degrees where i live, until maybe Saturday, and even then, its going to be below 40 everyday. Todays high is supposed to be 32 degrees. I live about 2 1/2 hours south of you guys. Just to give viewers some insight into what you are facing weather wise over the next week plus.
It might be a good idea, if you're planning on staying there forever, you might want hallways wide enough for people in wheelchairs. You never know who will be in your home. 😊
Agree! Even if you don't plan to stay there forever it will raise the value of the home.
I'd go with a 5' wide finish interior on the hallway
And some ramps instead and of stairs. We have up down up situation and a daughter that has to use a walker, it's useful. We are trying to figure out how to change things up for her.
That lovely wife of yours is just smiling and that's a good thing brother, just wow on the layout of the house, thanks for sharing
I get the visual & thats gonna be awesome! I recommend making your bin slab 3-4' bigger around than the bin, for 1. To have a wrap-around sidewalk & 2. To keep rain from splashing up mud on the bin
Im so excited for you! Its gonna be awesome!! We will be here watching the whole thing!! Cant wait!!!
Love your ideas. It is nice to see your visions come true. Proud of you both

It must be really gratifying to build your own home. Great job Jason! Hey Daniel! Cant wait to see more of the build! God Bless! Stay warm! 🙏
I can't wait to see it when it's finished you both are doing a good job and all the Animals are looking

This will be an amazing house for you both and further kids and or family. Thank you for sharing till next time God Bless you all.
Damn!! You have enough work to keep us entertained for a while!!! I can see the vision! That's gonna be a dope ass home!!!

The said they are looking to do that

I can't wait to see it when it's finished 🙌
You can pour concrete when it is below freezing they add an antrifeeze called heat to it but if you like delays do it their way.
Looks like you guys been making plans - looking forward to see it all come together- at first I thought you were putting the bin right in front of the front door! Thankfully your explanation cleared that up. Should be very nice when you get done!!

I like your plans should look awesome. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
What an epic structure.
My first reaction is that I would put in a bigger door, like a sliding glass door coming out of the house. And also make the hallway bigger.
Why would they need a hallwayy big then 4ft wide thats plenty wide enough
Howdy 🤠 absolutely sounds amazing love you all God bless prayers
This is going to be epic. Looking forward to watching the build. Thanks for sharing 👍

Are you putting a 10’ door in? That would be pretty awesome.
How are you building those two end walls that are outside of the slab?
Sounds exciting. Can't wait.❤😊❤😊
Okay! I give you permission to build a house ☝️😅

Hello Mr and Mrs Crocker.
Please make the hall way to the round bin glass 😭
are u putting windows all round the lower part of the grain bin to see all round and you tube office at the top of grain bin
Building walk around porch that will be awesome
Using the bin you have or keeping it there since its already settled and getting a 2nd bin? May be easier...curious
Are you ever going to get a storm shelter? Please say you have a plan for it 🙏
How much room do you need for more goats? Where is the basement?
Loving it!!!!❤❤❤❤
you need to do a collaboration with Ambition Strikes
