@@Woodbrew I rented one to lift 4x12 beams 24’ long for our pergola. My kids were little and all my friends also had little kids. The job needed done, and I didn’t want to hurt myself. We use them on our construction site to lift large wood beams, steel beams or large ductwork. Makes an easy job for one person as long as they’re secure. Love the channel, and the passion!
Wow, did not know you were doing the T-shirts yourself! You are an incredible young man. Your work ethic, involvement in with your family and easy going spirit will serve you well. God bless you, your wife & child! Fast becoming my favorite channel!
I'm enjoying this series. I learned a lot today. The way you brought up that wall! I didn't see that coming. You did it up fine. Your orders...you do it all. That morning hair 😊 You work hard. Very hard. Your a good man Dylan.
Looking at the size of the lumber you are using and your skill in making joints, you are building that cabin to last a long time. You are doing a sterling job well done.
The pride that you take in your craftsmanship is exemplary Dylan. You really have to take care of your back, trust me when I say that you don’t want lifelong back pain. Owen is growing so fast. Stay safe.
Really like the joinery technique you are using on your new Shed. Yes Sir, she will definitely be wind proof. May even be a refuge point if you are caught in open spaces when a Storm passes through. 🇨🇦
When I started work in Mobile a number of years ago, I learned the word “jenky.” I believe your lifting mechanism may classify for that. Good thing this is a “how we did it” channel! Love the content always!!
Proven Hands Drawknife-proof pants - Made In The USA. Seriously, loving what you are doing. Looks like you've been taking some inspiration from The Third Coast Craftsman. Keep up the great work!
-9°F & I'm outside chainsawing rounds for the outdoor wood furnace & sweating up a storm. Gloves, Carhart jacket, & a Mad Bomber hat. No extra layers. Loving this cabin build.
I did say to you on your last video, that Molly and your son NEED you, so don't get doing anything sketchy, trying to lift that wood screwed together on your own is sketchy, you'll learn the hard way.
Didn't see ya give that ratchet strap a little twang and proclaim 'that ain't going no where!' - 100% the reason it came apart! Glad no people or walls were hurt in the making of this video.
Ratchet straps are less that 5$, add another 1 or two. Those things are strong enough on their own BUT with even a slight nick they fail at much lower weight.
Dylan, a suggestion for you. Place a sacrifice board below the beam when you are using the slick so work on the joints. If your slick slips then you won't knick the slick edge. Blessings to all of you.
Its getting there. Looking good. I gotta ask a couple of questions……. Since the wood is probably still of wet, have any plans for the joints when the wood shrinks? Second, you live pretty far south, what about bugs and the wood?
Does it affect the structural integrity by cutting the middle of the vertical beams at the same height for the center beams? Would it have been better to offset the cuts?
If you had fastened a board vertically in the center of the wall and then fastened a brace to it and used the ladder steps I mentioned, you would have been able to lift it. There's no way one person could have done it by lifting by the top beam 😮 13:49
Gosh the support we have received over at Proven Hands has been so encouraging. Thank you all for supporting our dream and I am so happy to keep getting positive feedback from y'all❤ ⭐This is what Charles had to say about our tees: THANK YOU CHARLES!✊ "I love watching the channel and wanted to support Dylan and his family business. I really didn’t care about the quality of the T shirt, but true to their word (and the honesty and quality of the work they do) it fit perfectly and is very comfortable. I highly recommend looking into the Proven Hands brand and purchasing some of their high quality merchandise! I was blown away by their customer service and the personal follow up by Dylan himself. Makes you feel good to do business with great people!" 🇺🇸 Provenhands.com
It’s in my plans to offer on the back options, but I’d be happy to custom print some on the back if you’d like. Just order whichever design you like and email me at provenhands@gmail.com to let me know your order number and that you want the design on the back✌️
Hey Dylan, love the content my guy, but with you and Mollys permission we need more mom and baby updates for all of us old shits whose kids are grown. Good job kid!
I call "unfair"! You seem to have uploaded a bit early. Now, what am I supposed to watch at 3AM when I can't sleep? Alright then, I'll just go back and watch a rerun... 🙂
The plan has always been to do the shop in stages as we can afford it. We are saving up money to pour the slab and put walls up next. The cabin is using all the logs that were rotting away from the first phase of the shop.

You may want to think about renting a duct jack. In Ohio the rent from Sunbelt for about $90 a day. They’ll help you on those lifts.
Great idea👍

Great video as always. Shout out to Reolink for the sponsoring and the doorbell.
They are awesome to work with and genuinely love their products
Proven Hands is no joke if you're doing all those prints yourself! Nice work.
I surely enjoy your videos! Hard work = success. You’re killing it.
Thanks! We're trying our best!
@ would love one of your shirts or hoodies, but my size is 4X. I didn’t see any options that big.
Shoot me an email at provenhands@gmail.com and I might be able to custom order one for you.
@ thank you so much!
Happy New year to you Molly and Owen. Lots of granny hugs to you all from the UK 🇬🇧❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️
I was watching that single post you were using to lift the wall. It had a bit of bow to it and I was afraid it might snap. So glad it held. Great job.
I’m enjoying your cabin build series! 👊
Glad you didn't hurt yourself and took a step back to reassess the situation.

Thanks Dennis!

That includes standing on the top of a step ladder. NOT SAFE AT ALL!!!!
Looking forward for the next 😊
It’s coming along pretty good.👍🏻👍🏻
Appreciate it!
Great job 👏 😊

You two are absolutely amazing
❤️❤️
Good work!

Looks absolutely amazing ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Please, for the sake of your wonderful family, stay safe.
Does it affect the structural integrity by cutting the middle of the vertical beams at the same height for the center beams? Would it have been better to offset the cuts?
20:11 May I ask what that print means? The word ‘freedom’ illustrated with a revolver?
I'll bet you can't wait till Owen is big enough to do the orders for you.
What kind of drone do you have? Mine compensates for wind. It can withstand gusts enough to not have to worry about crashing.

And Happy New year.
You should get some lifting straps and shackles

Will you be installing one of those doorbells on the cabin?
Definitely👀
Beautiful baby!
Thank you, Dillion, Molly & Owen!
Thanks so much for watching!
More Molly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello love your channel. Just a quick question about your t shirts do you ship to the uk?
Hey Dylan, I really like your shirts and hoodies! I'm more of a graphics on the back kind of guy. Is that something you offer?
It’s in my plans to offer on the back options, but I’d be happy to custom print some on the back if you’d like. Just order whichever design you like and email me at provenhands@gmail.com to let me know your order number and that you want the design on the back✌️

You do take the time to get things just right don't see that a lot any more nice see it in a young man
Thanks Robert✊
Where was Site Manager Owen when you thought that strap was hooked up properly?
16:32 HOOK HOOK WHERES THE HOOK!
this is going to take AGES!!! last video ONE wall. this video ONE wall... hmmm...
Proven Hands shirts for kids……. And Owen can model them…….
Looks as if your door camera needs to be a little higher. Molly won’t be able to see their face if they refuse to bend down.

😬
Did I miss something? Why are you making your cabin with - what are those? 8” x 8” posts? Why not 2” x 4”’s like the rest of the country?
I can’t figure out why you are messing about with this cabin thing when you haven’t finished the Workshop off yet.
The plan has always been to do the shop in stages as we can afford it. We are saving up money to pour the slab and put walls up next.
The cabin is using all the logs that were rotting away from the first phase of the shop.
❤😊
Get yourself a taller ladder
why don'T YOU PICK THE WALL FRAME WITH THE FORKS ON YOUR TRACTOR AND PICK OFF THE GROUND AND SET IT ON THE FLOOR?????
The forks won’t lift high enough. I think the max height is around 8.5ft and this is 11ft off the ground.
I always say lrean by your mistakes.
👌
painful to watch.
I love the videos but need a little less talking , and you could get more things done . Anyway, stay safe and keep up the good work
👍👍👍🫵 3 🪨❤️ it.
