Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra (BGKO) during their Creative Retreat in 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗟𝗮 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮 (near Barcelona), rehearsing new songs for their 2019 lnternational Tours and experimenting in their constant exploration of the roots of traditional music of the Balkans, Gipsies and Jewish of Eastern Europe, with original brush strokes which come from their rich and varied musical and cultural background, with an undoubted passion.

Thanks to all the people involved!
Alter so many concerts in 2018, presenting our last album, 𝗔𝘃𝗼 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼, we feel ready for the next step with a different repertoire and, as always, with the aim in our trips to meet new places, people, musicians and moments, while discovering those traditional songs that have been interpreted throughout time and passed down through generations, while never losing their power to evoke the deepest feelings of the human being. Today these songs rise again, touching us in our hearts and souls.

Ma bucur sa vad ca sunt români care asculta aceasta formatie geniala si ca nu sunt singura :) Si pe langa români, cand vezi si alte nationalitati ca apreciaza asa ceva nu poti decat sa te bucuri. Asta dovedeste inca o data ca muzica uneste, si cred ca asa va fi in toate timpurile! 😊

Ma bucur sa constat ca romanii nu-si repudiaza muzica, ba chiar o pretuiesc. Mi-e dor de-o vacanta la Mangalia, cu vreme buna si sa pot vizita geamia veche, cea sitiuata vis-a- vis de posta). S-auzim numai de bine, frati romani si surori romancute ! Gica, Horia-IL PS Dupa nume, Cedey pare sa fie nume turcesc/tataresc, insa minoritatile au fost mereu un bonus ptr poporul nostru. Sa speram c-asa va fi si de-acum incolo. Aferim !

Sandra canta foarte bine melodia aceasta in romaneste. Decorul ales ma face sa ma gandesc la o liziera-crang de padure situat de-o parte ori de cealalta a Dunarii, in drumul ei ( al apei ) catre varsarea in marea cea mare ( ptr noi, romanii), undeva dincolo de Calarasi , unde ambele maluri ale fluviului sunt situate in Romania. Cineva facea referire la originea frantuzeasca a Sandrei. Eu stiu ca-i cetatean spaniol, doar ca originea nu-i acelasi lucru cu cetatenia. Daca ma poate lamuri cineva, multumirile mele sunt anticipate. PS Toate cele bune le transmit si celor 6 baieti care-o ,, insotesc '' pe Sandra in calatoria ei muzicala prin Europa ( trei ochelaristi si alti trei ,, clarvazatori''-fara nici o ironiie). Sper sa ajunga sa cante, in direct, si pe-o scena din Romania. Servus,
