Great info mate. Maybe you missed out a con though. What about categories? What percentage of your sales are clothing?
We don't really do clothing, instead we focus on toys, collectables, houseware/kitchenware and small electricals Etc. Our store is pretty eclectic.
Also, anyone that resells on a serious basis knows that re-selling can be hard work and time consuming., especially if it's a side hustle. Some people may not want another platform to manage. That's our main concern. Thanks again.

    Great 👍🏼 video 🎥😊
I know I have commented on your videos before so you may remember me mentioning I am a Private reseller.
I sell on eBay, Vinted and Depop.
I have a standard Vinted account and do find some benefits to compared to eBay especially with how quick you can list, it's user friendly and no fees for sellers.
The cons are no international selling, customer service is limited and all online so it can take a while to get a human reply. I also find some buyers can be rude and less understanding then eBay buyers.
Some months I sell more on Vinted then eBay. Both are platforms I like using.
I don't sell as much on Depop because most of my listings are bric a brac and Depop isn't the re-selling playform for that.

I only sell on Ebay but I do buy on Vinted.
One thing I find is that the vinted search engine appears to function quite badly- e.g. if I search in the books section for an author like jane austen it will throw up a load of books that aren't by jane austen. So I find it quite frustrating sometimes to even find the items that I want to buy.
Another point of difference would be the ability to see the sale history on Ebay - people can list their items for similar prices to the recently solds whereas on vinted you don't have that information. As a result people are more likely to undersell things - so it can be good for sourcing.

    Great video and insightful.
Could you tell me how easy it is to move listings from Ebay to Vinted using Seller Aider?
IE, can you bulk upload all your existing listings from eBay to vinted in one go? Or do you have to do them one by one?
If one by one, how quick is it to list an item from eBay to your vinted account?
Any answers would be very much appreciated, as I am trying to understand how easy/difficult it would practically be to move my store/have it on both platforms?
    Cheers

Nice video, very helpful. I’ve been in the same boat as you wanting to list on eBay only but have been thinking of cross listing. Do you find that big ticket items can sell on Vinted or is it the lower priced stuff? I’d imagine that I’d make a lot of sales in the £20-30 bracket.

Vinted want good image's ideally someone wearing the item of clothing but don't make the photos look to professional as they remove due to copyright as they found the same image's on other platforms such as eBay , even though that eBay account is yours.
Also first time had this but other people have said this before, buyer chosen a shipping option that wasn't switched on .

Vinted have banned me 3 times and for the most ridiculous reasons, when items are 100% genuine and they want original receipts to prove there real, how many years do you need to keep your original receipts say for a t shirt or a coat??????

Support on Vinted is non existant. I can not get my pro account verrified .I'm going round and round in circles .I know I'm not the only one. Makes me think the infrastructure isn't there . Proceed with caution I say.
