  • Very impromptu review and wrap-up of my past 3 years in the 320i. These F30 3 Series models can be great values on the used market. Filmed back in April before my big move; more content is in the pipeline of the 320i to be posted soon.
    Notable Service Items:
    - Brake Fluid
    - Clock Spring
    - Brake Pads & Rotors
    - Bulbs... lots of them
    - Coolant

I hope your next vehicle has a backup camera and parking sensors so that you don't back into anymore oak trees!

I have a 2014 320i with stick. I have owned it for 2 years. Total maintenance for 2 years around $1,500 for 2 years. This includes tires and oil changes. U have to go to a accomplished repair shop that specializes in BMW's....avoid the BMW dealers unless ur work is covered by BMW' manufacturer's warranty.

The shape and lines of the F30 is so good, you can tell how well designed it is. It's the perfect size sedan for daily driving imo (although it could have a little more leg room), the G20 is kinda too big, and the ones before the E90 were too small for a comfortable daily driver

I love how dirt cheap these are. Honestly so affordable anyone could buy one.

Only thing you need to look at is the timing chain issue, and also I’d get a PPI before making the purchase

Nothing really to report guys... except I drove into a ditch and backed into a massive oak tree. 🤣🤣🤣

I have a question, I’m thinking to buy bmw 2014 320I but when I drove the car , the sterling wheel felt really heavy, fell like more heavy when you drive 1 hand if you do parking

Thise wheels indicate that this car was a special North American edition for 2015 as I recall. It had a special specification but the best thing eas thise cool wheels.

I've had my 2014 320i for about 2.5 years now, same as you no issues apart from timing chain which went at about 60k miles cost me £1,200. Lucky was on warranty.
Great car to be honest but now i think its time for a change of car, currently looking at golfs.

Timing chain is a serious issue. Is this sn interference engine, I'd say so most likely is. If that goes it can destroy entire motor.

timing chain at only 60k miles?? they're meant to last the life of the engine

😯 $4500 for timing chain? Wow! Here I thought my Cadillac SRX’s maintenance was expensive….it’s at the dealership right now getting about 3k worth of work done…..luckily it’s under warranty and I have a loaner.😂

    • @pauln412

was there something wrong with the timing chain ?

Maybe you should learn to work on your own car? Buy third party manufacturer parts instead of OEM? There are plenty of companies that make parts for a variety of cars out there
But that's also a good compelling reason you should lease instead of buying a car. The maintenance is free and you don't have to worry about depreciation
