@@_padders great stuff can't wait to hear more mate I'm always happy when you put a new video up it's always a great watch. On the subject of straps, on my most recent video when using my 03 Les Paul it came loose and I dropped it headstock 1st onto my pedal board. I was horrified and definitely thought it was going to be a neck break. Thankfully it's just chipped the corner of the headstock so I've a strap lock on it now.
@pauljohnstone547 Oh man....how long did it take you to calm down after? That is the fear with Gibsons, although their are a lot of people who can do amazing repairs on most breaks. I dropped my Duesenberg once, came off the strap, scratched the back up and the guitar never played quite the same again. So it ended up being sold. Glad you escaped with only a war wound on your LP.
@@_padders I was fuming with myself for a good half hour 😂 I have heard the horror stories with Gibsons and the neck break they are commonly linked with so that's why I feared the worst. Once I'd seen the neck & headstock was okay the next thing I thought about was if it messed with the neck/action playability etc, thankfully I just had to retune it and it was back to normal again with just the chip on the headstock. I definitely got away with one, it came down with quite a bang and the board/switcher unit I have is a Mike hill one so it's all wooden and built like a tank.
That upstroke pattern is so cool. Didn't they just play at Shepherd's Bush Empire a couple of weeks ago? Saw that on the marquee when tooling through there on the way to Acton.
Yes they did two weeks ago. I didn't see them this tour. I saw them maybe 10 or more times in the 90s and always a great show, but not much desire to see them again now.
Love it! One of my fave bands, seen them loads. Well done Squire! ❤
Yeah back in the 90s I spent a few years pretty much following them around night after night. Good times
Very lovely sir..
Thank you
Brilliant man! Love that guitar too. Well done again Padders 👏👏👏
Thanks Paul, picked up a better strap for it today so it'll be getting more action now. It's an incredible guitar

@pauljohnstone547 Maybe Gibsons are stronger than we think. We just don't hear about every time they get dropped and actually survive!
