Is anyone else finding that there is absolutely ZERO noticeable difference between ANC on or off?? Like it's completely non-existent.

Its prolly because the gap between ur hearing function and surrounding noices is to big since you be listening to ur music on max volume

Where is the link to the latest firmware versions?
For anyone experiencing issues with Noise Cancellation there’s usually 2 things that could be affecting this:
Hardware, or Dirty Airpods
For dirty airpods I do not recommend using a Q-Tip. Use a new Toothbrush or any kind of brush similar to a toothbrush apply alcohol to the mesh-part of the Airpods and then rub the microphone parts gently with the brush to remove the debris from blocking the air flow which will improve the noise cancellation along with the microphone quality dramatically

When noise cancellation on it seem like it’s been nurfed because I can hear any and everything around me I’m a little pissed because if I knew Apple was gonna do that I would’ve stuck with my older AirPods
Yea Apple has been nerfing the noise cancellation lately, not sure why. Maybe to preserve battery life?
I thought something was wrong with my AirPods because with ANC I can hear almost everything around me

When I try to manually change the noise control from the settings and from the stem the noise cancellation doesn’t work??? When I change it in settings it says to put my airpods in but I already have them in 😭

Noise cancellation is worse because apparently copyright infringement. The algorithm they use to cancel the sound is very similar to what another company uses so they had to build theirs from the ground up. It's currently TERRIBLE and I hope they fix it. My Earfun Pro 2's have 1/3rd the price and 3x better cancelation. The airpods do sound better but I very much prefer better cancealltion.

so my noise cancellation works pretty good but it just randomly lets in noise for a few seconds then goes to normal again and i just got these yesterday its very annoying

@@theIbraDev just ended up contacting apple and they replaced it for me
I can listen to music with both on but when I try to use the tap features on the right ear bud it doesn’t detect it’s even in my ear so I can’t use noise canceling because they think I only have one AirPod in
Maybe the sensor are cover… try clean your airpods and try resetting them
I have my AirPods in and it say I need both AirPods in my ear to order to use noise cancellation and u try everything is there a way u can help with that
I realize that this happens to me sometimes. Only thing I can tell you to do is make sure your AirPods and the device it’s connected to is up to date.
I found turning on and off the phone helped. Stupid I know.
go to setting go to airpod and scroll to where it says noice cancellation on one airpod. if both phone and airpods are fully updated and you have no issues with noise control functions, it should work

All you did was to explain how to update the firmware... not to fix the problem with Noise Cancellation... which I still have
my airpods have a static noise when using noise cancellation or transparency mode

Try to do a reset
If they are first gen airpods pros that's a common issue, i don't think there's any fix but they still sound decent with nc/transparency turned off and possibly some eq
Do you have Background Sounds on? It’s able to be turned off and on in the Audio Accessibility Settings. There’s 6 different sound options but 3 are varying "static" sounds (dark, bright, & balanced noise), and the other 3 are ocean, rain, and stream.

Is this ANC nerf would be fixed by any software update or you’ll need to buy new airpods?

Hopefully they fix it in an upcoming software update. I don’t think buying a new AirPods will help because it will still end up on the latest update which nerfs the ANC.

I only have 3 options in my air pod pro settings
Are you on the latest settings? … in order to see all the settings you have to have it connected.
My AirPods worked great and then suddenly the anc and transparency stopped worked. There is no difference between any of the modes and off now. What a rip off

On my Redmi Buds 5 Pro same shit , no difference between deep cancel , light and other . I hear everything around me :(

@@petarvencislavovvelizarov2128 I cleaned my AirPods with some alcohol and q tips and it fixed it for me. Also turning on conversation awareness seemed to help too
Firmware 6B34 seems to have nerfed ANC. It's really bad, almost sounds the same as transparency.

It’s like that sometimes try to disconnect and reconnect them
My issue is other way around, transparency mode is not working.

Bought my AirPods used… can’t change the iCloud on it but I have reset it and I can see on find my.. but I can’t update it why
Make sure that they are connected to your phone and in close range to your phone. Also make sure to be on the latest update on the iPhone

When I put on noise cancelling it works perfectly but it will randomly stop being as effective as its is supposed to be. if I turn it to transparent then back to noise cancelling mode it resets them and they work again, I’m not sure why it happens.

@@ludde2408from what I understand it’s a feature, the AirPod believes there’s not background noise to cancel so it tones the noise cancelling down and there’s nothing we can do, awful design from apple imo
@@chickensoup4347 word, makes me want my old pair of the airpods, couldn’t do much when I asked for a repair and they responded in 3 weeks with ‘the serial number doesn’t correlate to the one we got here’ so they basically lost my pair and said I did something wrong…

Hi i have just bought my airpods pro 2 and my noise cancellation is not working properly i can literally hear the clock chime in my room and all things are fine(Software update for both phone and airpods, cleaned)
They have been nerfing noise cancellation lately so maybe that’s just how it is now.

When I had that issue, I just took my AirPods into an Apple Store. They tested them in the store and then replaced my AirPods and gave me a pack of new tips, all free.
Can someone explain why can the other guys around me hearing the sound of my music for example and if i have my airpods in my ears?What should i do?
Try noise cancellation mode. Maybe your AirPods Eartips need to be replaced with new ones

Do a ear fit test again in the settings

My AirPods are stud in noise canceling no matter what. It’s a weird issue when I’m in transparency for some reason noise canceling is still on! And I can’t hear anything! Help anyone?

ANC on these is non existent. I never should’ve given away my 1st gen Pro’s, the noise cancellation on those was excellent. I’ve taken all the steps to try to fix them, have called Apple and they can’t/won’t fix them. I’ll be returning and finding something else.

Try wiping off the sensor maybe something is on the sensor that makes it think that it's in the ear.

Same for me man , on fit test it say that i didnt put them well like i need to adjust them . And my noise cancell dont make any difference , i hear everything around me on deep cancel mode . What i need to do :(
