Thank you for that great video. I am a big fan of Atlas guns but for. 3000 dollars savings I’m gonna be ordering a MPA DS9 as soon as I can save the money.
Absolutely both great guns, but in the first set you sort of rushed it with the DS9. The Atlas was 15 shots in 15.07 seconds. The DS9 was 15 in 12.13 seconds. Not exactly an equal comparison but you gave the win to the Atlas. The 2nd round was definitely a lot more even and the tighter grouping definitely goes to the DS9. Again, both amazing guns. But at literally 1/2 the price of the Atlas I'll take 2 DS9's please! Or one DS9, about 8,000 rounds of ammo and some lessons with a pro!
2 great Firearms, I would be happy with either. My LGS had a consignment Blackhawk 2011 Commander and a Atlas 2011 Commander. Both were solid black and 2800 each. It was when I just about to buy this house and a just bought the 2 Bul Armory pistols.
Would like to see a test of the guns accuracy instead of how accurate the shooter is with these guns. When doing a comparison, please keep the ammo the same in both guns. Shoot several groups with each keeping the number of shots the same, and usually limited to 3 or 5 shots per group. Dot size at that range should be fine. Both are beautiful arms, thank you for the video.
Thanks for Watching, they are both plenty accurate, I choose to do more of a real work experience. He also prefers to run that type of ammo in his gun so that’s why I used it. Carry On
Yes, life is full of variables. Consistent shooting means eliminating the impact of different variables to reproduce the effect of an accurate shot. Ammo choice should be considered. But hey, it's UA-cam, not a science-based experiment, so yeah... do what ya want! Thanks again for the viewing of your fine handguns.
You should fire them again in opposite side sometimes dominant eye sight affect your performance if does has the same results I would say they other one is better than the other. not knowing the other one is cheaper.
from a range gun standpoint I do not see enough difference here to warrant the 2500 dollar price difference, If it was a competition thing the atlas might be the way to go just from the grip texture standpoint. Its kind of disappointing that the grip module on the ds9 is not more aggressive.
With those pistols you should be nailing a softball size group. I would like to see a competitive shooter shoot both to take the poor fundamentals shooter out of the equation
I Did, “I” shot both of them for myself..Same day personal comparison. Maybe you should follow my channel & check my history before just assuming you know everything.
@@albertocolon1578 No offense, but your comment could be turned around on you: “Maybe you aren’t a voice to be listened to since you aren’t providing anything another than words.” You could have said everything differently and not sounded like a keyboard champion while still getting your point across.
@@levinile7221 nope. This review has an inconsistent variable… the actual shooter. He has fundamental flaws in his shooting. Therefore his accuracy test of both pistols is inconclusive. Again I would like to see a competition shooter shoot these pistols. Not a baby boomer who wastes his social security check on guns that will probably get 150 rounds in their life time.
The only way to accurately do an accuracy test is with a ransom rest take all human elements out of it.Both great guns.I can say that I am more accurate with my Bul SAS II Shorty than my friends Atlas Athena.
@@BigJohnsonGG Okay, but not everybody will be as bad of a shot as you, the spread is so ridiculous, you could tell me it was done on a high point and I would believe you.

Do you genuinely want to test accuracy on a pistol? Use a Ransom bench rest to eliminate human error, subjective results, and interaction and get "REAL" accuracy results testing. Both are great pistols for sure, but I would choose the MPA~
I prefer to compare real world (using myself) results…not mechanical. No ransom rest just laying in real life shooting. Both will shoot fantastic from a rest that’s an obvious given. Thanks for Watching, Carry On
@@BigJohnsonGG testing accuracy of a firearm requires real equipment. While human interaction may be a good indicator nothing beats using a Ransom Rest bench~ It truly tests the pistol's capabilities but I totally understand where you are coming from... Good stuff, thank you!
That is so cool that you got to test the Atlas!
I’ve shot his other one awhile back vs the Staccato XC & CZ TSO.
Fun as always!
Love my Staccato C2 9mm. Another great video. I noticed almost no muzzle ride from either pistol
Thanks
2- beautiful guns thanks for sharing.
The mpa actually looks snappier on camera. It would be cool to see an infinity and a bul armory in this comparison
Thank you for this side by side
Thanks for Watching
Two great firearms! Enjoy them!
As always great video, but. When doing a head to head comparison why did you use different ammo in each gun? Why not use the same ammo in each ?
He preferred that exact brand and grain ram thru his gun (his ammo).
I didn’t have that exact brand to run thru mine. Thanks for Watching.

That 2nd group was more me! 😀
Wow are those pretty guns
Those are some of the best guns money can buy. Big fan of Atlas. You can hear the quality just when you rack the slide.
😂. U really can hear how nice it is! Sounds like the steel is as smooth as glass.

I plan to get the aggressive grip MPA DS9
It’s a great gun
I'd say do a sight in first with but pistols then do the comparison. And even then it can be shooter issues on your groupings.
shooter issue dont matter here as he shot both with the same skill level..video shows that Atlas is on a different level
