Handgun Quick Clean: Atlas Athena 2011

Cleaning a high end 2011 style pistol like the Atlas Gunworks Athena doesn't have to be a crazy long process... in fact it usually takes me less than 10 minutes to knock out a quick clean on this pistol to get it back into tip-top shape.

Q tips - indispensable cleaning tools. Fit perfectly in the rails and other hard to reach spots, they can also be dipped in your favorite cleaning solution and/or lube. Best of all - they’re cheap as hell.

Would like to know if this Athena with say 3.5 pound trigger be fine for duty or carry/self defense as I am thinking of this handgun, but used for more carry and defense

The Athena is definitely a good option for duty/carry. That being said, I would personally choose the Ares for concealed work as it's a lot lighter weight and you can port the barrel.
