    I just got this machine and I have some info to share but I can't comment on the durability of things yet. Have done a grand total of three loads.
    1 you probably have what you need to get started when you get. You need to remove the aerator on your faucet but the adapter is included. You may not need to add any washers. I got three extra in addition to the ones that were inside the nozzles. If you try to add more they won't screw together because the two threaded sides won't meet. Similarly I didn't find the need for plumbers tape.
    1b. Once you run water to the machine the connection will be full of water and under pressure, waiting to be needed again. When you disconnect the machine from the tap (leave the connector on the faucet) it will spray water everywhere. Just cover it with a rag as you disconnect it. No big once you know.
    2 I bought a 20x20in wheeled plant stand from Walmart. It was $25. It works perfectly. It gets the machine off the floor in case there is a mess the washer won't be standing in it. It also raises the nozzles and cords etc a couple inches closer to the faucet if you need a reach. And finally the machine itself is not on wheels so the platform allows it to be moved around. Make sure you push slowly and carefully esp over transitional floors such as carpet to tile etc. and push slightly downward so you don't just slide the machine off its platform. The wheels on my particular cart each have locks so you can lock for stability and unlock to move.
    3 the loads are pretty small. If you overfill it's probably going to exert more on the machine. And it won't wash or rinse as well. This might be the most frustrating part. But the loads run fast on cycle 3 so you can push through quickly.
    4 The drain hose is iffy and had me kind of worried. Will the water traveling through it dislodge it and misdirect the water? Maybe. I ended up buddying it to the hose that's connected to the sink using a ponytail elastic
    ubber band. That way they will be connected firmly to the faucet of the sink. Stagger the ends of them so the drain hose is set about 8 or 10 inches back from the other and it should aim the drain water right to the back of your sink. (Fiddle as needed.)
    5 the drain hose will empty out completely if you lay it on the floor particularly if you have it on the platform. If you lay a towel down you will mitigate problems. Then hang it to dry. If you do a few loads in sequence empty the hose after the last.
    6 you probably want to stand there while it runs a few times to troubleshoot potential issues. You don't want an unattended snafu. After that do you. I wouldn't leave it while I'm not home.
    7 you need to remember that your tap is occupied while the machine is in use. No doing dishes. No filling a pasta pot. No making a drink or filling ice trays. Of course. But I didn't think of it until I had to wait. So...Plan your use of that faucet.
    Enjoy...I'm loving the convenience of this machine!

    • @lethiapage4767
      @lethiapage4767 Рік тому

      Also regarding the drain hose. It is threaded to a saddle thats supposed to allow for stabilizing the hose onto the sink or the hump between the basins. If it seems unsteady check that you aren't setting it up with the hose twisted. You can inchworm the hose out of the saddle and put it in the other way which may help with how naturally the hose sits in the basin. Helps whether or not you splint the two hoses together.

    Hi thank you for your review. As you mentioned, there’s not many reviews online for this product, so thanks again. How loud is it and have you had any issues with lint clogging? Or does the lint trap work well? Also, how dry do the clothes come out?

    • @aspiritofperserverance3900
      @aspiritofperserverance3900  2 роки тому +8

      Your welcome, it is not loud at all and does not shake all around during the spin cycle it’s stable. No issues with clogging, I’ve washed towels, sweaters, sheets and throw blankets. The lint trap when I pull it out hardly ever has anything in it, but I did notice the part that’s actually part of the washer has lint in it. The clothes come out dry like a regular washer. I’m satisfied so far as long as I get some years out of it. Thank you much🙂

      I'm sure you've figured out something by now, but for others....depending on how it's leaking, alot of times, Plummers Tape will do the trick.
      If you don't know what that is, it's a thin, non-sticky tape like roll that wraps around the threading of the hose connectors. Usually, it's a white and blue tape roll sized roll. Can be found at Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware....I think even Walmart has it.

    I have a Nictemaw brand. It's an exact replica of that machine. Can you please tell me if your Washplate/agitator has an 11" circumference. The reason I ask, is I typed in the model number and all the replacement Washplates are 16" or higher, but none as small as 11 inches wide. Your wash plate has the exact same design and guess what? It's impossible to find no matter how many key words I type on the net. I found your channel during my search and noticed the exact machine with the same type of Washplate. Even when you do image searches, the patterns in the Washplate appear to come in every variety except for the one yours and mine have. Beware that the screw in the center that connects the Washplate for agitator can crack inside the center where the screw holds it together and the Washplate will no longer rotate back and forth with agitator moving. Instead the base screw agitates by itself because it can no longer grip the screw with tension, so it rotates with no contact to the Washplate which moves the clothes. Hence no motion in the water, but the machine still makes a sound like it's washing, but the water stands still. My friend ordered some apoxy and maybe we will try to cement the Washplate where the crack is and see if that will provide enough stability and strength to wash a load without cracking due to tension. It's powerful and washes nicely, when it works, but when the plate cracks where the screw is the party is over!! I may have to buy a name I recognize next time because other portable washers seem to have replacement parts that are more universal. I see a lot of whirlpools that have universal replacements available etc,. I never heard of Nictemaw or the brand you have, but it's the same machine. This plate seems to be a mystery. I can't find it. If anyone else has I would appreciate any leads to ensure an exact fit. These washers seem to have a much smaller plate than most available. Very strange. Also, is it possible for you to share the model number on the back of your unit. I am curious to see if the numbers are the same. They are identical with different brand names. But visually they are the exact same design.

      @@aspiritofperserverance3900 The machine I have was purchased Sept. 21, 2022. Washplate broke Jan 06, 2023. It lasted 4 months. I was really enjoying it too. I am trying hard to see if there is a match somewhere online to purchase a replacement Washplate. Still no luck yet. If you or anyone can find this 11 in. Washplate that looks exactly like the one at the bottom of your washer. I would greatly appreciate it! We will see how the Apoxy seal experiment goes in the meantime when that arrives. In the worst case I will search for a similar washer with a better known name brand and search to see how many replacement parts are searchable online. I hope I can modify and fix this one successfully.

      @@aspiritofperserverance3900 Okay. I am still searching and this is a challenge. After doing more research this a common problem with this type of top loading washer with Washplates. The part in the center that supports the screw is called a Spline if I am correct. It tends to crack inside the hole in the center. It's best to keep a few spares. The smallest I have found is 10 and 13 inches, 16 in. also, no luck with 11. If I find anything too I will update here. Otherwise, I recommend people buy a familiar name brand instead and verify how many universal replacement options are available for critical parts. Always buy a few Washplates for back up. I do have three spare hose connectors as those can be a problem. So far no leaks after I got a well made attachment on the water connection parts. Thanks again!

    • @aspiritofperserverance3900
      @aspiritofperserverance3900  Рік тому +1

      Once you plug the hose to the faucet (using the supplied connectors) you turn the water on and that’s it. There’s like a valve shut off or something in the connectors it comes with that controls the water flow.
