Love the window box planting, great work. Something I do with plants struggling with the sunlight is take a 5 gallon white bucket and flip it to cover the plant. Still gets a lot of light but cuts out all the heat. Of course this makes it look a little unattractive especially since you got a lot of traffic on your road. This works great for me though.
