    I love this series with Glen and Tom. Y'all're like Click and Clack, The Tappet Bros. (Car Talk) but it's agriculture instead of car repair!

    Would you and Tom please make a video showing the use of the Refractometer?
    Probably you will also show how to raise the Brix number. I know one way is to use your GSR calcium, but what are the other way farmers/gardener's can get the numbers up??
    These series with Tom is really really great. You two guys have a great way of communicating!
    There is always talk about using a Refractometer and the need to get the number up, but very little information about the procedure to raise the number.
    Thanks Glen and Tom for you video series.

    Thanks for the information and entertainment. I do have a question…I bought a groline ec meter recently. Is it important to calibrate the meter? It says you need to purchase some type of calibration fluid. I literally just read the instructions this morning. Also, does the amount of soil moisture make a difference in the readings? Just curious on your thoughts, thank you

    So you answered the question of what to do if ec is low. What do you do if it is too high and you have not applied NPK fertilizer?
    With the low condition, would adding compost tea with extra sugar and calcium be the best answer?

    • @firstname-qq3xp
      @firstname-qq3xp 3 місяці тому +1

    Thank you for the useful information provided,much appreciated.I have 2 Johnson Su bioreactors,of 1 and 5 months old.The conductivity at 1 month old is 0.1 , but the other at 5 months is at a whopping 2.3.Measured a few months ago it was 0.7.The materials used for composting are almost the same, the EC meter is the same as in your video.I tend to believe it is a good thing, because the growth is caused by the increasing biomass of microbes.What are your thoughts about this?
