My best friend and only person I could trust and rely upon died a lil over 6years ago, haven't had a friend since. Moved to a new town, got a new job, was drawn to a person and we started to become friends, they have a partner who got jealous of them giving me attention and convinced them that I was no good for them. So back to just me. It sucks but, that's life

Thank you, I really love your body doubling videos. I am always behind on laundry, and I’m the only person in my family who can physically do it, so it’s a big issue that doesn’t just affect me. Clean load folded! Next loads started!
I’m sorry your boyfriend was so horrible about you basically having any personality of your own. I’m glad you’ve moved away, and I’m excited for you to move in with your friend eventually.
An awkward Dana-hardly-says-anything live sounds lovely. We can all be our awkward selves together.

That thing you said about the accessible tickets was so frustrating to hear. I love going to see live music but sometimes I struggle with loads of people just walking behind me and stuff (anxiety, ptsd) so I would like an area to be in - but there only ever seems to be tiny areas for people with different abilities and I would feel bad using a spot just cos of my nerves (that could be manageable on the day) that someone might need for any access at all.
So yeah more accessible gigs please 🙏
I love this videos thank you Dana

14:18 I get this whenever I bump into someone famous. Plus the whole why would they want to talk to me anyway. Doing a selfie with someone can be a good alternative to conversation though.

I can relate to so so much in your videos and have watched for awhile. Thank you, your videos are helpful to me. I just have never got around to commenting until now.
Today I needed to do some packing. I like traveling usually but just couldn't get into the packing mood. So I put on thjs video and packed while watching. 😊

Whats been happening to me this week relates to the friend thing ya was talking about. I don't get why people can't just be open and talk about things when they have a issue instead of letting it fester. Starting to feel like its not us autistic folk who can't communicate well, it's other people. People don't seam to want to work towards addressing issues and delude themselves into thinking they are right. Feels like people have no empathy and no curiosity to why people do things. I need to stop giving red flags the benefit of doubt and I need to stop being friends with people who think regular insults is "just how friends communicate" because my mask is a chameleon kinda deal and when I mirror their behaviour back at them they get hurt and I get punished for it 🙃
Congratz on doing ya clothes and finding energy to hoover too 💪

What you said about trying to be nice to people you don't like, so they don't know you dislike them-- then they try extra hard to be around you because they think you like them... I've done that too. But I think you have to come up with some third way of acting so they don't get the wrong idea. It's really no wonder people get in these uncomfortable situation. Maybe much better to act the way you really feel and learn to deal with their disliking you. Yikes-- really is a thing I relate to.

Just a warning for Catherine Tate at comicon. Karen Gillan came to my Aberdeen Comicon last month and the wait to get a picture with her was nearly an hour. Those were the prebooked tickets. The recent companions are very popular.

Would your friend consider being in a sit-down video? I'd be interested in learning more about them and I think there are interesting video topics regarding autism/disabilities and friendships. And, of course, would you consider inviting them?
For packages: maybe they could send it to a post office in another city? Where I live we also have parcel boxes where you wouldn't need to give out your address. Might be something to look into.

There are regulations on deposits now; they can’t charge more than 5 weeks’ rent as deposit so you might be able to get them to lower the deposit 👍

Bumping into subscribers in the street would definitely feel weird. Are you planning to go to any Pride events this summer? How would you feel about encountering subscribers at a Pride or comic con?
