- Did your QTP EXHAUST VALVE STOP WORKING ? There’s nothing more disappointing than having an exhaust valve stuck open when you’re supposed to be a highway ninja ! After getting under the car and pulling off my QTP cutout I was surprised to have found the problem to be so easy to fix! Check it out !

This is a known issue on all exhaust valves that’s why they need maintenance . QTP told me the same as well, they know the issue and they’re addressing it by telling u to buy the motor or the whole unit. Next issue you’ll encounter will be the remote. I fixed mine by reinforcing the valves and their motor I just threw away, the main issue is their module not sensing when the valve is already close so when it reach the close position it’ll keep pushing till the valve gets damage or the motor gears gets chewed up inside as their plastic or in ur case the adapter gave way. Also for maintenance grease moving parts on the valve and near the adaptor.

@@hamzanukic9410 no, u just need to change gear/s that have missing tooth, RC shops have them. Put a little bit of high temp grease on any moving partson ur valve kit. i also recently change the control box which is the next to go out on QTP kit.

Did you ever talk to the company about replacement set screws? I have these cutouts on my G63 and the drivers side was rattling. Because of this video, I checked, and I’m missing one of the two set screws causing it to flutter… curious how to replace this without going the bike bolt route 😆
@@the_pointy_end I didn’t, but I’m sure they sell them and/or could tell you what size set screw to look for.
@@Sliderz_Official bet. I ended up ordering the whole valve assembly just to get the screws off it. In the order comments I told them to just send me a shit ton of set screws. Thanks for making this vid- it definitely helped me realize I was missing a set screw. I’m subscribing to your channel. Thanks man 🫡
That's probably going to loosen up again and Loctite is going to burn off drill it out and put a tension pin through it and your problems will be over if you ever want to take it apart take a punch knockout detention pin
