Yes he does man was great. Allways tells story can dance.gave JAMES BROWN. RUN OF HIS MONEY. JOE TEX HAD LOT HITS. I MISS GUY. RIGHT UP THERE WITH JACKIE WILSON. BIT JOE CAN BE COMICAL AND SO TALENTED
Wow what a star performer this guy is, and what a sound. Most of us here in the UK only know him for "Bump No More" & "Get Dancin,'" but I've just recently understood a whole lot more about Joe Tex.
I had a friend (God rest his soul.) who worked at King Records as a graphic designer, and he told me that ever since they were label mates, there was no love lost between James Brown, and Joe Tex.
He and James Brown emerged around the same time in in the 1950s. So the big question, was he the first with those dance moves (and did James Brown then hijack them for his own live performances?) Little Richard seems to think that he did.
He deserves to be inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

He was cold blooded. But he couldn't touch James Brown. In my estimation.
Joe Tex was the better ballad singer but JB smokes him in everything else. They are too similar. I can see why they had issues.
He Was A James Brown Wannabe!
Just enjoy da music
And you a Karen wannabe, enjoy my friend and shut up!!! Good God now!!!
