Just picked up an MA v2 1050 as my big foil, one session in and completely agree! Great fun, low end is fantastic and so playful. Run on 85 mast/600 fuse amd 208 tail. WIll be adding the 850 soon to replace current HA850 for sure.
Absolutely agree ..💜Loving the Ma v2 850 have had multiple sessions now with both the s210 and the s178 on the c700 fuse , am blown away at the slow stall speed with the s210 stab and thinking now I could have gone smaller, at 60 kg would the ha 750 or the mav2 700 be a good choice for high wind..?☯☀cheers..or even a 650 HA...🙃
What I can say is that the HAs are harder to get onto foil and they do have a bit more of an aggressive stall, I also didn't find them to be massively faster than the MA but they do have more glide - which is nice. The HA 850 had too much span for me - so if I was to go HA it would be smaller than the 850. Regarding smaller MAs - I've not ridden one yet but assuming they have the same DNA then the MA 700 would be fine at a 60kg rider weight, I had no issues at all with the 850 at 82kg rider weight.

it seems crazy that today we are calling 1000 foils our 'big foils' but I'm not going to complain about it - it's awesome.

Hi! Did the pumping improve with the s208 en s105 on the 700 or 600 fuse?
Thanks Maarten
better on the 600 fuse - as you would expect.
@@Wing-Tips sounds logical thanks 👊
How does the MA stack up against the Spitfire, which is commonly held to be a better HPS?
Much better low end, doesn't bump you around as much in choppy water. Similar turning, better tip breach and breach recovery.
