I felt like the star talent to Aiden's Weinstein like directions (make what you will from my decision to compare him to Weinstein all I will say is #MEALSO!)
Great vid chaps. love it. I prefer Ryobi to Black and Decker, oops sorry I mean DeWalt. It is slightly less costly and is just as tough as the DeWaldecker...
noticed a bit of a change in style and editing in this vid compared to the previous. nice work. gradually catching up with your content! bit addicted now. you better carry on!!😂
Ah a fellow tuber 🙌 this is a hard game to play 😬 this lodge is meant to be where we will be living until I've finished our barn... I still haven't finished the lodge though! 🙈
@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT going to give it a try, we've moved 12hrs away from family etc so thought we'd do updates. We will see how it goes, I need to work on my editing skills though 🤣 haha, knowing my husband the pod won't be finished before he has us moving on to the barn...🙄
Thanks mate 👍 I've got to work on editing my stuff from a few weeks back to get everyone up to date. I'm going to attempt to get 2 out a week to catch up. This one was actually recorded Monday, edited Tuesday and uploaded Wednesday ready for release today
I used 2.8 X 64MM RING STAINLESS STEEL FRAMING Nails. A few did pop out a little after a few weeks as the wood dried but they were easily hammered back in
I just looked up those Bulldog nails you mention, I was looking for some 90mm framers ... are you sure they are cheaper!? Screwfix are selling 2200 Dewalt brand 3.1x90mm for £46. Bulldog price £72 for just 1100!!
Hey James, the ones I used for the cladding are stainless steel so that's why they are expensive. Screwfix do have 20% off their Paslode stainless steel at this very moment so they're probably more inline price wise with the Bulldog ones but I didn't look up the price of them again. I used stainless steel on the cladding so I didn't get rusted heads and runs after a few years fingers crossed. You don't need stainless for 90mm framing nails unless you're dealing with oak. Normal steel nails in oak oxidise/rust quickly. Although stainless steel nails are more brittle so you decide which is the better of 2 evils. For the 90mm framing nails I've been using fischer for value and convenience 👍
fab, but just make sure the first piece is level all the way along, this one slightly bows in the middle, also calculate the number of boards to the top prior to deciding on the overlap The calculation is the height of the board minus the overlap divided by the height of the total cover. That ensures you don't have a small piece at the top
Tool showcase conveyor belt was the best yet!! Brilliant, Dan should be in more videos too
😂 Ah well furlough is over and he only has so much holiday. If I ever 'make it' on youtube I'll employ him myself 👌
Dan's the Man! Must be good, it's got Dan in it. Proper banter and proper quality.

Thanks Ged, I've just purchased twin microphones so hopefully I'll be able to capture some more entertainment!
If Dan worked in the house of commons...
"What is it Dan?"
"..... its fucked mate"
😂
Nice to see the progress on the cart lodge. Looking good.
Thanks dude

Thanks mate. Humm i''ve used both DeWalt and Ryobi but I think overall I prefer DeWalt even though I like my green tools 😂

Haha yeah the editing evolves over time as you continue to try and find your place on UA-cam
Also that Ryobi saw has a laser on it. Like Star Wars. Pew! Pew! Pew!
Haha, loved this guys! We’re currently renovating an old barn and building a glamping pod first to live in and the larching was driving us mad!

Nice ET reference or not? “Aiden go home, Aiden hurt”
You've got it! Haha I wondered if anyone would get it 🙌
Your progress is outstanding! Also liking the ‘Generation Game’ comedic moments too

Great content and fun guys! What gauge/length of fixings did you use? Just planning a similar job. Thanks for your help and all the best

@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT Actually, you are right. I wasn't paying much attention to what they were made from, the galvanised ones compare much better!

quite 'staggering' to watch 😁
12.17, glad to see you've got same bollocks from your Paslode as I have from mine, come to conclusion they are overrated .
Ah yeah but mines an ancient one 😆 wouldn't mind a fancy hikoki one day but I think I'll just try and get by with this old thing
@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECTI'll look up the hikoki, losing my patience with my paslode and its just been serviced and not had a hard life.
where is the snail living now?
