How many bottles did it take to do your 2 door? I'm prepping to do my 2 door JK soon and don't wanna pay for a ton of extra materials. I'm assuming I wouldn't need the full 8 bottles the 4door in the video needed?

I know this is already 3yrs old but I feel as if the front grill should have raptor sprayed on it but black. Keeping that texture on everything makes it 110% better.
So I did not have black tint available, the raptor black I had seen but it faded and did not look good. I agree I thought about the gloss black textured but the gloss broke it up a bit!
That's awesome. I would love to do that when I get a jeep. I would totally do the grill in a black because it would match the fenders more than the gloss would. That's just my opinion though.

Raymond jones exactly I used to wheel up on the fireroads in Mahwah and took it down to barniget light to the beach down there, once I moved to Florida I went into this nature reserve called Corbett and you have to get through some real tight trails I had pin-striping all along the Jeep both sides

David Froese thank you! I did make some changes check my newer vids I upgraded to 37s and machete beadlocks put the green grille back in and did the fenders in green and ... well you’ll see haha
I love the liner on the Jeep not does it only look great it's very functional for protection. Also keep the angry grill on the black does break it up very well. Awesome!!!

I like it a lot. Right now my WJ is a factory greenish color with a little of metal flake all one color but I am going to paint my bumpers and side plastics with black bed liner now. Then when I'm ready I will try to find a close match to my factory green and mix it with bed liner.
1: I think you should line a grill in black. Take away that gloss bit still have the contrast. 2: How does it clean up? Assuming you off-road it atleast a little, how does the mud and such come off? Is it hard to get it totally clean or does a low power pressure wash do the trick? Very interested as I'm thinking of doing it to my TJ.
I debated the black grill but ended up keeping the tank colored grill. To clean is easy just power wash or spray with degreaser and power wash worst case use a soft bristle boat brush.
One, it looks really good, no joke...Two, it truly only matters what you think about it, since it's your hard earned money and your Jeep! Last, keep that grill that's on there, my opinion, but you keep the one you want.
Came out great man! Kevin almost convinced me to do it too! Disassembling gave me chills after all the isht I put on. Your rig is bitching. Love the darker rapotor liner color. Won't get that yellowing when it gets dirty over time and the dirt settles into the crevices.

Can anyone comment on the longterm durability of Raptor finish on a vehicle. 3,5 or more years down the road. Also is there a recommended topcoat (clearcoat?) that will enhance durability and appearance. Thanks. Great video.
@@TMogo116 Thanks for your reply. I have an '02 Black Dakota Quad cab that I purchased new. It's in great shape, except for the failed clear coat. Black Raptor seems like the best option for appearance and economy.

You should do a matte black grill to go with your fenders and bumpers. I like the glossy black, it just doesn't look like it fits the feel of the Jeep.

I see you sprayed directly onto the door hinges, did it affect their motion at all, chip at all during their first movements after spraying? This really looks good..at first I could see a stripping effect when you painted the passenger door but maybe that was before the second coat..It looks flawless in the sunlight...I have a Jeep project that is going to look like an extended cab M715 and also a Suburban modified to look like an Avalanche, and was thinking of coating them both with a dark gray Monstaliner...I had a Bronco that I used the Monstaliner on, and it looked good for a roll on, but a couple of the rollers begin to disintegrate and I had to pick out the pieces..maybe this Raptor liner is better...but if its urethane, that stuff is not good to inhale or get on your skin..even the fumes are bad for them eyes..I don't know, but that is what I heard..you haven't mutated into a zombie yet have you?
haha not a zombie so the trick is the very last coat you do a fluff coat so you stand back maybe 5 feet and light dust everything, the raptor has kind of a self leveling effect and you just fluff the whole thing and it will look flawless.

Upol raptor liner is great but keep in mind its permanent. The only way to change xcolors is to shoot it again promting buildup of material

mjnc367 the White Wrangler in the beginning had been lined for 4 years it holds up very well no clearcoat is needed as it will turn yellow

Paint tint? The PJK tiny, is that made by raptor liner? Or can you use any tint brand?

no rag as it will get hung up on the raptor but power washer works great with a soft boat brush or just spray with degreaser
Quick question about the liner. Did you just use auto paint for the tint? What is the appropriate mixture ratio
I used automotive paint tint, I bought it from a auto paint supply store, I used 75ml of tint in each bottle of raptor.

@@TMogo116 Hey I have a 2017 Granite Rubicon and going to do the Raptor Liner on it. So you dont have to use there tint colors you can use the stock color i.e. Granite, or Anvil, Rhino?
