I’ll sub for a free pair of PFs. I have a few pairs of their last issue with the selvedge stripe on the back. Black, white, and red highs. My favorite style. These new ones don’t have the original rigid wedge foam insole. It’s just a flat piece of pretty cheap foam. Doesn’t really matter, though. Most people take out the insole and replace it with their own. I do that. Probably why they stopped putting effort into that and maybe focused more on the upper. At Footlocker I also noticed the canvas was stiffer. Hope it lasts longer, but I never had problems with the canvas. It did feel like the difference between a regular converse all star and a 70.
