I have about 10 of these uppers from 5.56 to 450 bushmaster...never a problem and the only problem I ever had was a scratch and the customer service sent me a replacement immediately..very happy with BCA.
I have been watching some reviews in an attempt to take the entry level plunge into the AR 15 world. I saw a torture test that really put the BCA through the ringer. Buried for 5 months, dropped, run over with a F250, dragged on dirt road and pavement and it still kept on ticking.... I would say it is reliable enough to take anywhere.
I have two BCA 16" 5.56/.223 uppers, both came with charging handle and BCG, I put well over 1000 rounds through my first BCA 5.56 upper with no issues, I shot a mix of ammo 5.56/.233 PMC, Aguila, Wolf, Tula, and Armscor, no issues whatsoever. After that 1000 rounds, I finally cleaned it! I was so happy with the performance of BCA Upper that I purchased another one. I just built an AR47 (AR that is chambered in 7.62x39) I purchased a BCA 16" side charger upper, so far 600 rounds down the pipe with no issues. Shooting a mix of every cheap 7.62x39 rounds you can imagine, to my surprise no issues I was expecting feeding or extraction issues, especially using lacquer coated ammunition. After a 1000 rounds I finally get around to cleaning my AR47 upper... BCA & PSA you can't go wrong with them
I have many of BCA tools and I was shocked at how good these ARs are! I have never been disappointed with BCA. Talking to BCA over the phone was a pleasure too. I called them concerning shipping and they were very nice and helpful. Joy to work with.
Just got onto your channel looking to buy another AR and found it really great. Easy to understand for me a 74 year old gun lover, law-abiding citizen, Second Amendment unfortunately a California hope you don’t hold that against me, but look forward to new videos keep up the good work
Great content great review: personally if I were to go into combat I do not care what the name is good history or not you can but a new car and it can breakdown all I want is a firearm that runs and works like it should people are too hung up on name brand products especially if it has military history. There are plenty of manufacturers out there that are way better than military
I totally agree. The name isn’t going to help you. I have built a 308 and 5.56 with BCA. I would put either one of them up against any name brand. I have seen my BCA go up against a new Diamondback and my no name works better and performs better. These people act surprised because it’s an affordable rifle.
I used a BCA .223 Wylde with a carbonfiber lower and handguard and a pencil barrel from BCA and it came out at 4.5 lbs unloaded with a clip and sight. Super nice light weight build and it's a great shooter. I also built a .450 Bushmaster and 6.5 Grendel which both work flawlessly. The 20" Grendel is set up for 1000 meter matches with a 20 moa rail. Zero'd on the top dot at 100 yards, it'll take my load using the 129 gr. Accubond LR to 1000 yards supersonic. The .450 Bushmaster with the 18" barrel is my home defense gun and always in reach. It'll do a number on deer too if need be, but it's a bit heavy to lug around the woods and I have better firearms for that. All in all, my BCA's have yet to ftf or stovepipe a single round. I do intend to build a .300 blackout pistol version once ATF figures out what we can or cannot have, but decided not to waste my time and resources until that happens. Appreciate your reviews and special deals. ;)
Did the BCA 7.5 300 BO with a PSA lower…what a motherfukking beast! Smooth and very accurate. Don’t worry about subsonics…enjoy the dragon breath. The range fuds get all pissed off with the fireball.
I used to own all kinds of uppers… from BCA to Palmetto to a BMC. The higher end ones were nicer looking and I’m assuming had better quality parts that would last longer than a BCA upper. But the BCA upper was plenty enough for self defense and plinking and even hunting with larger calibers than the 5.56. Never had an issue with it, as with any gun on earth, proper maintenance is required. How accurate an upper or brand of rifle will be is the person pulling the trigger and their skills (or lack of). The lower was a super cheap Anderson. Practice practice and more practice, just like anything else you want to master.
I have two BCA uppers with barrels shorter than 16", on PSA lowers. They're plenty accurate enough for what I need them for (mainly home defense, 10-15 yards max). If I want to reach out and touch someone, I'll use my HK91 clone or Remington 700. In my experience, there's absolutely nothing wrong with BCA products, very good price points on just about everything.
I purchased one of their uppers in 7.62x39 and had the extractor break. I reached out and it was a hassle to get them to send me a single extractor. Not to mention I had to polish the hell out of the feed ramps and remove the rubber doughnut from the extractor, just to get a round to chamber. BCA can be "good" but when it's bad, it's BAD! Good luck!
I have several ARs. I have Ruger ARs, I have Anderson ARs, Areo Percision ARs, I have Bear Creek ARs and have been shooting them for a long time. I have taken them to training classes and shot up against higher end Ars and out shot the higher end ARs with my ARs.
The thing dudes miss about all this quslity/superior brand/go to war (I personally hate that phrase) is that milspec is milspec regardless of the roll mark on the receiver. If the material is the same and they are machined to the same dimensions within spec.. it literally and physically is the same thing regardless of namebrand. They all can have quality issues but if the customer service rectufies the problem then you're back to the exact same thing again regardless of paying $300 or $3000. The biggest difference in brand quality comes down more on dollars spent marketing not the product itself.
I have a BCA 7.62x39 16 inch .Right side charger AR. Took an enhanced firing pin and a heavier hammer spring to cure light primer strikes on old steel Russian ammo. But, now it runs well, and I manage decent groups at 100 yrds. The better the ammo, the better more consistent groups. Also, a BCA .223 Wylde that jams 5.56 to the lands and rips the bullets from the case IF you can get the bolt to release. I dismantled it and sent it back for head space and throat dimensional check. UPDATE; The BCA15 "Endure" the .223 wylde I had issues with took two round trip RMA's to get it working. Bear Creek said they could not duplicate the feed/jam issues, They fired ten rounds and sent it back. SINCE THEN I have taken it to the range and it DOES function as it should. It is also consistent and realist ballistics with 77 grain Black Hills ammo. VERY satisfying. I also bought a 5.56 NATO Cold Hammer Forged 20-inch government upper. That is mated to a Essential Arms lower with Geissele fire control and pro spring kit. Geissele Super 42 rifle length buffer spring in the A2 butt stock. Another very satisfying mid range ballistic piece. I have no problem buying and using my Bear Creek units.
GReat video. I was expecting a little better result from drop in trigger. On my first build and thinking of Wylde upper. For hunting and battle it would use the AR-10. My old Enfield with ten round mag pretty good battle gun. I have never tried to see what groups I get but have always dropped deer dead at 100-125 yards with flip up sights. Love the old Enfield (1942 refurbished 1949). Bought for $75 in 2004 with bayonet.
I have two ARs I've built using BCA uppers. One in 5.56 and the other in 7.62x39. Both of them are accurate and reliable. I've had no issues or problems with either of them. One thing I will note is the 5.56 upper won't cycle steel cased ammo. I have another 5.56 with a Palmetto State Armory upper and it shoots steel cased ammo all day, with no hiccups. Both of the BCA guns have 'budget friendly' aftermarket triggers that are much better than milspec. I'm an old, retired, disabled veteran and my BCA ARs are range toys and fun plinkers. The 7.62x39 AR is the one that is always in my 4X4 when I'm out exploring in the boonies. That's because it hits hard, is accurate and extremely reliable. I always enjoy your videos. I find them interesting and informative. Thanks.

Another new subscriber here. Im a fan of Bear Creek. Just got a .300 Blackout pistol upper from them. #1, Cold Forged barrels are badass!. #2, Build qulity is excellent. Coupled it with a PSA lower (Blem?) that I got for 129.00. And I cannot for the life of me find the "Blem". And the BC upper was 229.00. Shipping, and two 30rnd mags, and Im in for right around 400.00. I call it "Mikie's Mongoose". Using a Monstrum Rave 3x Prism red dot for it. So with that, Im in for 550.00 including shipping. Very glad to have found your review. Ill be using that discount code...Thank You!
Dadgum!! That’s a long way with a red dot and magnifier! I was so proud of myself with the Grendel at 340 and 20 zooms.😂😂 That’s some good shooting buddy.
I have 3 BCA uppers 300blk, 6.5 grendel and 223 Wylde and they all run great. So far I took a deer last year with the 300 Blackout and another this year with the 6.5 Grendel and all three are getting excellent accuracy!!
I don’t know why some people would say they wouldn’t take one of these guns to battle, my .300blk AR pistol that’s a PSA lower and BCA upper runs great and I absolutely keep it by my bed to protect my life and my wife’s life, I keep my Sig Rattler in the safe. Not every gun needs to be name brand to trust your life with it.
Because in all reality the battlefield is not the place to do testing & evaluation, you do 100's of rounds at one time over and over for months, with very little cleaning and maintenance, then there's the elements , heat , cold, rain , humidity, sand . mud etc. will a BCA or PSA make it in battle? IDK? I 'am by no means a gun snob I have 7 AR's and none cost over $600 ea , I buy uppers, PSA lowers when on sale, some I build myself. The military does years of testing so we don't have too, I'm guessing thats why theirs guys that stick to the name brand $2000 plus rifles
@@sandymitchell8182 I regularly shoot my 1886 Lebel rifle. It was the first smokeless powder rifle cartridge ever used in battle. It is still dead accurate, and runs flawlessly. If it was the only thing I had, I wouldn't hesitate to have to take it into a battle. If you have ANY AR rifle that you have shot many hundreds, or even a thousand rounds, through, and it has performed flawlessly, tell me why a name kills it for you.
I have a 5.56 and .330BO uppers from BCA. LOVE them. Never a hiccup. My only issue is with the 5.56 being a gen 1 side charging upper, the bolt handle walks. Nothing a little loctite didn't fix.
There is a company that makes a after market handle. Or you should use Vibra-tite. It is the same strength as blue loc-tite. But you put it on once. And you don’t have to reapply every time. You can take the handle off five times. Before you need to reapply
Awesome video and shooting! Just ordered my BCA AR pistol chambered in 7.62x39 10.5 inch barrel and side charging lever. I will definitely like and sub!
PSA "blem" lower.. $130. BCA upper $250. They work just fine... have many. I generally upgrade the triggers, as you would any AR... Name has 0 to do with QC, I am the QC.
@@mrdato116 I've always heard people talk shit about PSA but I've never personally shot one of their firearms. I'm in the market for an AK74 and not sure if I wanna give them a try or not. But I've heard they have crazy good customer service. I've been chokin on this decision for several months.
@@krismyers3995 I have their AK 103 gf5 model. Flawless gun, plus they have life time warranty. I'd recommend going with 7.62 models, their other calibers are good, but 7.62 are better with crime lined barrels
@@mrdato116 Awesome bro, I was also thinking about the Gf5. I've looked at the GF3 and was pretty impressed. And I've heard people say good things about it. I saw a melt down of the GF5 and to be honest that's when I started to really think about one of their AKs. Thanks for the response, I'm going to look further into those now because I wanted an opinion from someone who actually owns one. I WILL definitely look into the GF3 too now because I'm getting impatient. I've been waiting on KUSA to release their KR101 and they have the 103 series which I believe PSA and KUSA have similar quality. I have a KP9 from KUSA and I'm totally loving it. Now I'm just missing the AK47 or AK74. I've heard the same thing about the chrome lined barrels as well. Thank you for advice my friend.
I’ve had no complaints with their uppers, both the 7.62 and 5.56 run flawlessly. The 5.56 had issues when I got it but their customer support was excellent and they made the situation right in under 2 weeks. After getting it back I experienced zero malfunctions
great video, i never heard about conditioning a barrel; you've pretty much helped me make up my mind, bear creek arsenal it is. the only way this could have been better, is if you were pretty.
I bought a .300 blackout rifle for &350 and a 5.56 upper for $210. Both wer sub moa out of the box. I can’t speak on longevity as I’ve only had them a few months. Got about 500 rds through the 5.56 and 200 through the .300 blackout. So far I’ve only had to remove the handguard screws and put on blue loctite. They come over gassed but that’s kinda common, I’m ordering adjustable gas block to tune em and gonna continue to run em.
Buddy has the 50 and i got the 458 .. his bcg was clean mine was so dirty it would not run. After cleaning it runs but way over gassed so had to add a adjustable gas block. Still have some feeding issues from time to time. Used 4 different types of ammo all with same feeding issue. My buddies 50 runs flawlessly on any ammo ya toss in it.
I recently bought a BCA complete upper in 223 wylde with a 20 inch barrel. The damn thing is crazy accurate and runs great. It ate all the ammo I fed it. I wouldn’t use it for combat but for hunting or plinking you can’t beat it for the price.
Mine no strike (ftf) and jams the bullet into the lands. I must dismantle the rifle to "rod out" the stuck bullets.. It dumps propellant all over the chamber, mag,BCG etc.
@@jhutch1470 not enough time on the range with them. I want a lot rounds through a gun if I’m trusting it with my life. Besides, I built them each for different purposes. My tread400 is my do it all, go to rifle and I’ve shot it enough to trust it. Nothing wrong with the bca guns except I need more time with them.
I have 2, a 10.5 that I love and the same exact rifle 16' you have there. they bought have been great as far as quality, everything tight and where it should be. I cant say enough about BCA they have went up on prices but it seems the quality has also risen, they make just about every caliber out there including pistol caliber, thanks for the video. I have to check out that barrel seasoning video?? I didn't know we needed to do that🤔
Howdy, Brother! I'm definitely new to AR's (not to mention a bargain hunter). Hoping to do a similar build with a 1/8 twist upper. I was lead to believe that a 1/8 twist barrel is somehow more able to eat a more diverse grain bullet. Basically, a less expensive round with decent results at longer distances. I hear that 1/8 twist is a good compromise.
Maybe I'm that dense, but I can't find your link on seasoning/breaking in the barrel? Interested on that, not something I've really heard before. Is this something for barrels that aren't chrome lined?
You change out a few key components you can get a blemished PSA upper and lower for $300.. at some point the barrels got outsourced and were made by FN. I bought a basic one for a truck gun and that thing actually shoots extremely well one and one and seven twist. I can leave it in my truck under the seat if it gets stolen I don't care and it's accurate and it's durable and they have a lifetime warranty it's really hard to beat that.
I have one of their stainless H-BAR uppers coming in .300 blk. I want to pair it with a Lead Star lower but the complete lowers are out of stock at the moment. Might have the guys at Guardian Guns in Grand Prairie build me one. Now I know what you're thinking and you may be right but I just know if I try to build a lower myself, I'll launch a spring and never find it.
I bought a complete upper from them , it wasn’t my first always had good luck with them . Until this last build I did for my wife. I put the gun together with a psa complete lower I bought . Took it out to range and it wouldn’t eject. They sent me a bolt with no ejection pin in it. Rebuilt the bolt and it worked. But bought a new bolt from psa and keep bca. Bolt for parts. I guess their quality control is out of control. Should have just bought a PSA.
My first ar I got a psa lower and a bca 6.5 Grendel upper. The upper legit almost fell apart after five mags. Every bolt and nut was wobbly. I got 2’ groups at 200yds. And the extractor broke. I tightened everything up and tried different ammo and still a two foot group. Ammo went crazy high so it was a easy decision to switch the barrel. I love the side charger and the stoner barrel and of course 762x39 round. Idk if I’d ever buy another one from bca. My next ar was all psa. It’s not a side charger but stuff ain’t falling apart
Yo i got a PSA PA10 for $570 🎉 and ive had no problems with it! That feels like an awesome score compared to how much i paid for my Daniel Defense rifle 😅 and dont even get me started on optics 😅 monstrum tactical G3 scope open box for $150 ...(4-18x FFP) ive co.pared it to other $800 scopes and it still comes out on top. All just IMO of course! This is why i love the US gun market 😅
I have 3 BCA uppers. 22lr, 7.62x39 and a 556. I have put about 1000 rounds in each. The only problem was with the 22. Sent it back and they fix d it fast and returned it at no cost. No other problem
If it shoots w/ no jams, it's good for me. There are a lot of accessories that you can add and that will make it equal to a $2500 rifle. Imo, only the so-called rich will spend top dollar on something that works the same as a $300+ to $500+ rifle. This is also why I'll take an older model car over a $100k car. Parts are cheaper and runs just as good when taken care of. Reliability is the most important thing
The firing pin in my 7.62x39 BCA upper broke with break neck speed. I got 9 shots out of it. BCA makes junk firing pins. I put a BRA firing pin in and not another problem. If BCA knows their pins are junk why do they continue to install them?
I have a Bear creek side charging upper. It shoots well. The issue I had was with the front rail. I couldn't use iron sights, because the rail was too high in the front. It always hit very low, and I couldn't adjust it to zero. I sent it back explaining the issue. They shot it, and sent it back with a target. They totally did not understand what I was trying to tell them was the issue. I put a 1/4" rail one top in the back to get it on zero. As I said, it shoots well. I have thought about going over to their shop in NC, when I go to see my son in Hope Mills, NC
I have quiet a few builds I’ve done on a budget. They’ve all held up well. I like to do PSA lowers along with uppers but I have done BCA uppers with PSA lowers. Haven’t had any issues. Is everyday life a battlefield most certainly not. Most people will never test the true limits of their weapon. Most scenarios will be close quarters not from a distance. I do have a 308 for that if needed. I’d say do budget builds for everyday use but invest in good optics and upgrade triggers. That’ll save you money overall. Just my two cents. Love the reviews. I do have a question though. Being able to hit a target at 300-400 yards does the round still have the penetration velocity to pierce armor? To me that does make a difference. Hitting the target and having the same knockdown power is two different things .
I’ve been a customer of BCA for about 2 years and the one thing I found out is they have great prices but their customer service is terrible. So I pray that all of your items purchased from them works forever. I have a 300 BO that appears to have BCG issues.
just got one as my first ar and im glad i went with something cheap. i actually like the weight, heavier trigger pulls and less accuracy. of course i plan on getting something much better in the future but hold with me. if i can get good and learn with this thing ill be much more equipped to run a higher level gun at a higher level in the future. im just a civ never been military or leo so i dont have the core level of training those guys have but thinking about it thats how yall started. just reg heavy if i had to guess m16 or m4 or whatever u get the point
I’m telling ya guys, buy and put together stripped PSA lowers and just get a BCA upper to mate with it. It’s a great buy that is absolutely just as good as brands 5x the price. I got multiple BCA uppers from 5.56, .300blk, and .308, all solid for the price, there’s no better value and BANG for your buck than BCA uppers.
Yes, 💯. For just a range fun gun. Yes. I agree. War time. 💯. Tried and true reputation. I'm sure as time go's by, bear creek will keep on improving their reliability and quality
"AFFORDABLE" is the term I Prefer. I don't know about BCA, but I'm a Firm, 100% satisfied/Supporter of PSA. 68 yrs old, poor health and handicapped. I'm definitely no "Commando", "Operator", etc etc, I'm sure these are all I'll ever need and they'll do just fine. PSA is great. Good product, great price and service.
Honestly the “performance “ or lack there of.. lead me to figuring out their name.. then I saw just how cheap they were. That concerned me. It’s the second rifle I’ve bought off my body brand new. In my opinion, it had a pretty cool looking upper receiver, and it looked different than most of them that I’d see. But I would get extraction jams like every three shots . I’ve tried running it with the rifle dryer. I’ve tried it slightly lubed, and then overly lubed. Same issue regardless.. Just stove pipe too often! It’s the 10.5 upper AR 223 wyld.. stainless barrel etc. So now I’m researching and want a really good one that will work when I get it. and I can defend my family and trust it ! That’s my main concern. Even if it only jammed once out of 30 rounds.. I wouldn’t want it. But this is every 2-3 shots at a time!😡
I have a BCA 223 Wylde with a 20" government barrel A2 it's flawless and performs VERY well from 50 yards. Out to 250 yards as long as I'm able to hold 6 o'clock rear aperture on the target no optics but will be going to something as my eyesight isn't working as it did ten years ago LOL but all in all very happy with the purchase of the BCA rifle would definitely go into battle with it as long as it goes bang when the trigger is pulled
I’ve been contemplating buying an AR10…although bear creek has great prices I’m worried about customer service and how the rifle will hold up? My gut tells me to purchase a Ruger SFAR because Ruger is a much bigger company but I’m conflicted because bear creek is $500 cheaper
Well what if you want something to defend yourself and your family with but you can’t afford a Dd or G or Tavor. Does this mean it’s better to save the money to get one of those or get one of these
What are all the specifics of that rifle with site and all you have on it if anything with total price, I’m a beginner that’s why I’m asking, I want this one, do you have any discounts thru your website? Thanks
I'm not sure why bca gets so much hate, I have multiple uppers from them, and have had no problems, my most recent is an 18" side charge .308 and I'm beyond impressed with it, well under moa with 168 smk I've only got 100 rounds down the barrel so far, but not one single malfunction, I truly can't complain for an ar10 with for less than 600$
I have a 6.5 G upper I haven't had any issues with. Low rd count though. Purchased before I learnt; Most ppl I've heard hating on BCA is due to the mutiple ICE raids rather than the actual product. There is a reason they can make em that cheap. When paying illegals less than half a living wage..
@matthewbeaver5026 As far as I know they only had that happen once, and there quality suffered for awhile afterwards, they seem to have that under control now, but there customer service has went way downhill the last couple of years, I put in a ticket with them about a month ago and have yet to hear back, the last warranty item I sent them also took almost 3 months for them to return my part.
I bought an Acme Machine 5.56. When I bought it three years ago it was advertised as BA. It's started shooting 3-4 MOA. The cold bore shot is good. The rest all over the place . The barrel wasn't marked BA. it was marked BCA. Again I bought a rifle three years ago. The BCA barrel shot out very quickly. For some with 3-4 moa is ok. Not for me. I'm going to change to DD or FN Government barrel. As they say you get what you pay for.

I would say accuracy is a combination of shooter and ammo.
Exactly!!!
My BCA 7.62 16” heavy upper is deadly accurate. Enhanced firing pin for me too.
I wouldn't hesitate to take a budget AR into battle if it's proven it's reliability.
I'm perfectly happy with my PSA's.👍
After 300-500rds in any of my bca guns i agree
@@HansShacklefordthat’s not enough lol
@@HansShacklefordthat gun's barely even broken in. 500 rounds is a single good range day.
battle? bahahaha

Thanks.
What x39 mags do you run?
Seems I have to buy 5 ASC to get a good one. Uni mags do ok
Most everyone else recommends c products.
@@matthewbeaver5026 I have eight mags for my AR47. Six are Dura Mag (C mags) and two are ASC. I haven't had issues with any of them.

I've got a few BCA uppers and only had minor issues that took minutes to fix, DEFINITELY worth the price and accuracy has always been great!!
That 223 wylde by bca is smooth!
I’ve had my BCA .223 Wylde upper for over two years and it’s been fantastic. I paired it with a PSA lower. Great rifle so far!
Same page bro…7.5 300 BO pistol with PSA lower and LAW folder FTW. Makes a superb “backpack” gun too.
If you have ANY AR rifle that you have shot many hundreds, or even a thousand rounds, through, and it has performed flawlessly, tell me why a name kills it for you.
only problem I've found with bear creek is improperly staked gas key screws on the BCGs
i've bought many bear creek barels. love them and I've been very happy with them..
Bought 2 upper receivers from them. 223 Wylde and 350 Legend. Both work great and are very accurate.
I like BCA, PSA, GRID, AR Stoner... I love Faxon, Colt, FN, Geissele.
That's a good point. If you have found it flawless for hundreds, or a thousand, rounds, why in the hell would NOT take into battle if needed?
Guns are like cars you may have issues with a brand new BMW or a 20 yesr old VW it's just how it goes, you fix it and make it reliable.
I went with PSA at about 5 when completed. I saw a burn-down video on those and felt it would outlast me, for how little I use it.
All PSA uppers are out of stock, what they go for usually?
@@mrdato116 $ 50.00 - 120.00 for complete upper with bcg and charging handle
I’ve had no complaints with their uppers, both the 7.62 and 5.56 run flawlessly. The 5.56 had issues when I got it but their customer support was excellent and they made the situation right in under 2 weeks. After getting it back I experienced zero malfunctions
I've got a 6mm ARC upper on a basic psa lower and I swear to you it'll put 20 rounds in a better group than my Bergara B14 will with a 5 shot group
PSA is legit budget.
@CompanyHaze yeah sorry I forgot the most important part it's a PSA lower on a Bear Creek Arms upper which is beyond budget. It shoots lights out.
@kythom7574 whatever works for you. Nice 👌
Quality control, feature selection and purpose of use is why I usually build my own ARs.
great video, i never heard about conditioning a barrel; you've pretty much helped me make up my mind, bear creek arsenal it is. the only way this could have been better, is if you were pretty.
Keep up the good work i always look forward to watch your videos .
I got a 20" ss BCA upper in November for $192 shipped! Shoots 1 MOA consistently. Awesome upper.
Mine no strike (ftf) and jams the bullet into the lands. I must dismantle the rifle to "rod out" the stuck bullets.. It dumps propellant all over the chamber, mag,BCG etc.
Why would not use it for combat? Is it inaccurate, or jams?
To plink or shoot paper, I agree, get bang for your buck! What's the difference. The important parts can be upgraded
Very pleased with fit and accuracy of my BCA upper on a Spikes lower.
That's the ultimate plinking......AWESOME!
PSA & BCA are great quality and I have shot and enjoy many different configurations...
I have a buddy that has a BCA build the rings on his bolt broke apart right around 500 rn but it is a left hand eject with no forward assist
You should try the set screw thing to take up the pre travel of the trigger. It really helps.
Have a BCA 20" 5.56, 1:7 twist upper on an old bushmaster match lower. Can do 500+ yds all day long
I have my first 16" BCA upper headed my way. Hope it's as good as that. Thanks
Thank you for your time posting this interesting information.
Very in depth video. Did you have any malfunctions?
Outstanding, happy new year 👍
No complaints about my 55.6 carbine ❤
PSA and BCA are great companies! I own both of em, Windham, and Daniel Defense! My PSA is my favorite. Can't wait to get a Sabre!!!
Would there be different results with a 1:7 twist 16" barrel BCA upper
just got one as my first ar and im glad i went with something cheap. i actually like the weight, heavier trigger pulls and less accuracy. of course i plan on getting something much better in the future but hold with me. if i can get good and learn with this thing ill be much more equipped to run a higher level gun at a higher level in the future. im just a civ never been military or leo so i dont have the core level of training those guys have but thinking about it thats how yall started. just reg heavy if i had to guess m16 or m4 or whatever u get the point
Bro relax we Allfreinds some very experienced lot others well good like somebody said that's how yall started
I don't know for sure when they started doing it but I can confirm BCA makes their own CHF barrels.
I second that
Why not just get a full bca ar-15?
@@thade6130 You can, but believe it or not buying a PSA stripped lower and a parts kit then adding a BCA upper comes out cheaper than a full firearm.
It has a loud trigger reset. Good video review
Yes, 💯. For just a range fun gun. Yes. I agree. War time. 💯. Tried and true reputation. I'm sure as time go's by, bear creek will keep on improving their reliability and quality
I’ve purchased plenty of uppers from bear creek traded a few of them for higher priced gun and still own 6
I just ordered an upper from them for an extremely good price. If it works well I will get a dedicated lower for it. Can’t wait.
I own a bca 223 wilderness and a 450 bushmaster ar from bca and no problems at all
"AFFORDABLE" is the term I Prefer.
My 15 has a pedigree. Washington carried this when he crossed the Delaware. Then my cousin Paul used it in 1812.
I got the 7.62x39 side charging 16" heavy barrel upper for $250! Hard to beat that
I’ve been contemplating buying an AR10…although bear creek has great prices I’m worried about customer service and how the rifle will hold up? My gut tells me to purchase a Ruger SFAR because Ruger is a much bigger company but I’m conflicted because bear creek is $500 cheaper
Excellent video. New subscriber!
I picked up some 60 gr vmax from aac and look forward to testing it out!
I have about 7 BCA uppers in different calibers! They all perform well. They don't make many left-hand uppers/guns anymore which is sad!
This might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if the Bear Creek BC 15 shoos .223 as well as 5.56?
it will shoot .223 no problem you may see some difference in accuracy but probably not noticeable unless your at long ranges
I will say you seem to be a heck of a good marksman
What was the twist?
Well what if you want something to defend yourself and your family with but you can’t afford a Dd or G or Tavor. Does this mean it’s better to save the money to get one of those or get one of these
I think as my first rifle, I might buy this. Crazy cheap and very accurate!
Purchased before I learnt;
Most ppl I've heard hating on BCA is due to the mutiple ICE raids rather than the actual product.
Love your content! One of my favorite YT channels!
I just purchased a complete rifle not upper in .223 wylde from BCA for $396 shipped to my ffl.
Been on fence about buying one just for a backup or spare how many rounds you have threw it now?
That was awesome! thank you for the content.
