It was definitely a baby wheelie, but it was the first time it felt like it wanted to come up and stay up. I can definitely learn to control it from here.
You have to bounce it up. Even with tc on. In 1st gear Roll your throttle until the powerband kicks in (around 5500) then in a Really fast sequence ... Cut the gas and then twist it wide open. When you cut it the nose will dive. When the super soft front end rebounds. It will throw you up. Combined with a throttle kick. Can do it in second to with out tc.

I've found that about 20 mph or so in 1st is the easiest speed to get it up. I tend to lightly bounce it and not cut the gas all the way though. I haven't been able to do it in 2nd, but I do have TC set to 1.

I'm normally riding on 2 ABS and 3 DTC and can power wheelie and clutch it up pretty fine. You just have to know where the bottom of the power band is.
CHomerShoot When I had Taylor Pierce's Hyper for a week, I noticed that with the riding position and suspension it has it's definitely more prone to wheelie. But you're right, if you're in the power band you should be able to wheelie with higher traction control.

Which exhaust do you have? Stock?
Does the 821 have a gear indicator?
It doesn't. Most Ducati's don't have one. I think the Diavel and Multistrada have them, but I'm not sure if any others do.
It will come up fast without TC. :-)
No Basis For Comparison I had tried a bunch in the past and it never wanted to come up more than an inch. I was sad because I though my bike wasn't powerful enough.
