i am currently designing a almost all plastic balisong but it's meant to fit the vulp hardware (bushing/washer pivot and zen pins) the idea is to sell the handless/blade as a kit and you can just buy a pack of vulp hardware and have a complete balisong at a affordable price
Thats really interesting, I had an edit (not lite) last year that broke in the same place as the dex palette after not much abuse. I thought that the design was changed significantly but it may just be the inherent design of having metal in a plastic handle. Nice vid!
I think that in terms of durability, printed balis are inferior to PVC. It's not the makers fault, its just that the way that 3d printers function, it will never be as sturdy as machined CPVC.
Hey bladebias would you recommend getting one even tho I have a squiddy B? I want a lightweight balisong but a little upgrade for the grip because the handles are thick and not grippy at all. Is this the one?
Has anyone tried the palette with the Tie blade? I really love the look of the tie blade but I’m not a huge fan of handle biased balisons. If anyone has tried it, how does it carry momentum? How does it Chaplin? How does it fan?
Just got an Edit lite thanks to you, with the crescent moon blade the bali is neutral, in term of flipping everything seems okay to me so far except for continuous fanning. Interestingly, you said the Palette is also neutral but carry good momentum for fanning, is it because of different weight distribution?
hello blade bias love your videos💚 can you put thread tape what is used on like shower heads to balisong seal the thread. and is it the same than teflon tape
hey, this may be a silly question, but if you still remember how the nrb ultralight trainer flips, are there any plastic balisongs that feel remotely similar to it? I wanna try out an ultralight but can't get my hands on one.
is the edit lite still a viable plastic balisong because i got my edit lite about a year ago and im now fearing that its going to become a waste of money

Cool idea
What material? is it machined PVC or printed?
Soooooo, do you mean a bali like the Kershaw lucha zippy handles but for the vulp instead? Or like a like a plastic bali, with all vulp hardware?
Cool!
How much bruh and is the hardware interchangeable

I almost bought one the other day but decided to wait for the DT blade next month
Just bought a palette premium. So excited to try it and flip it every night.
Gonna see how the chopper blade feels as well 😄
Hope you enjoy it!

It's because it's heavier overall

Metal will always feel different to plastic
is the edit lite still a viable plastic balisong because i got my edit lite about a year ago and im now fearing that its going to become a waste of money
If you got a year out of it then its not a waste of money, and you can still enjoy it for as long as you own it
Im planning to buy one of these, but are they safe to flip on the airport?
No
if the squidy OG is a 1, and the palette beta is a 10, then where does the edit lite fall on that scale?
7 or an 8 probably
so remember the first time you saw flipforge and judged based on the fact that it said "to replicate a metal balisong"
I still disagree with "replicating one" but delivering a similar yet still unique experience is what the palette manages to pull off
What fps do you film at?
I try to do 60 but it's really up to what my camera feels like setting itself to each day
I said hi also w video
